Cincinnati Bengals vs Atlanta Falcons Prediction and Best Bet for Nov. 8

Game time: November 8, 2026 at 9:30 AM ET

Venue: Santiago Bernabéu — Madrid

Article updated Nov 3, 2:42 AM EST

By SportsJaw Editorial Team

The Cincinnati Bengals will beat the Atlanta Falcons, projected Bengals 31, Falcons 23, behind the passing combination of Joe Burrow, Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase. Atlanta will face that group without injured pass rusher Samson Ebukam. Cincinnati -3 (-110) is the strongest wager at the supplied SportsJaw price, with medium confidence. Pass on the total of 52.5 (-110).

Cincinnati Bengals vs Atlanta Falcons prediction and best bet

Cincinnati -3 (-110) is the best bet because the Bengals have the more persuasive offensive case entering this matchup. Burrow threw five touchdown passes against Tennessee on Nov. 1, with Higgins and Chase each exceeding 140 receiving yards. Ebukam’s confirmed absence gives Atlanta another problem as it prepares to defend those targets.

The forecast is Bengals 31, Falcons 23. Atlanta’s season-long third-down struggles strengthen the Cincinnati lean, but the Bengals’ defense keeps confidence at medium. Tennessee scored 36 points in regulation against Cincinnati, and several Bengals defenders have injury concerns. This is a bet on Cincinnati creating separation through its offense, with Atlanta still projected to score.

Cincinnati Bengals outlook

Cincinnati’s 43-36 overtime victory over Tennessee featured production from all three central figures in its passing game. Burrow completed 38 of 48 attempts for 462 yards and five touchdowns. Higgins caught 10 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns; Chase finished with 11 receptions, 141 yards and a touchdown. Those performances give the Bengals two receiving threats Atlanta must address.

The finish also matters when interpreting the score. Regulation ended at 36-36, before Cincinnati drove 70 yards in five plays and won on Burrow’s nine-yard touchdown run. The offense was productive before overtime, but projecting another 43 points would overstate what this single result tells us.

Defensive availability is the larger concern. Rookie edge Cashius Howell underwent wrist surgery after playing 27 snaps against Tennessee. Zac Taylor supplied no recovery timetable, and Cincinnati had not placed Howell on injured reserve in the Nov. 2 report.

Edge Cedric Johnson was day-to-day with an ankle injury, while cornerback DJ Turner II had the same designation with a heel issue. Both were scheduled to travel with a chance to play. Their uncertainty matters to Atlanta’s rebound prospects and argues against treating Cincinnati as a comfortable defensive favorite.

Atlanta Falcons outlook

Atlanta’s 16-0 loss at Tampa Bay came in torrential rain, an important qualification when assessing Michael Penix Jr.’s four interceptions. Three came before halftime. A repeat of that turnover performance is not the assumption behind this forecast; Atlanta is projected to recover enough offensively to remain competitive.

The more persistent concern is third down. Atlanta went 0-for-12 against Tampa Bay, and its season conversion rate stood at 33.33%, ranked 29th in the Falcons’ report. The team converted three of six fourth-down attempts in that game, but relying on fourth-down recoveries makes sustained scoring harder. Cincinnati’s defensive injuries offer an opportunity, provided Atlanta can extend possessions.

The defense also needs a response after allowing 324 rushing yards on 56 attempts. Bucky Irving gained 170 yards with a touchdown on 27 carries, and Kenny Gainwell added 140 yards on 25 attempts. That result identifies a recent run-defense problem, although it offers no direct measurement of how Atlanta will cover Higgins and Chase.

Ebukam and receiver-returner Zachariah Branch are out with hamstring injuries. Ebukam had 2.5 sacks and 15 pressures, fifth among Atlanta defenders. Branch had 10 catches for 64 yards, plus eight punt returns for 83 yards and 14 kickoff returns for 360 yards. His absence also requires Atlanta to replace return work.

Key matchup factors

The most relevant connection is Cincinnati’s productive passing game meeting an Atlanta pass rush missing a contributor. Losing Ebukam could make it harder to disrupt Burrow, although his absence alone cannot predict the protection Cincinnati will receive. The Bengals’ receiving production makes that potential advantage worth backing.

Possession sustainability is the second factor. Atlanta’s season third-down rate is a stronger warning than its weather-affected shutout alone. The Falcons need longer drives to keep pace, while Cincinnati’s injuries leave room for improvement from Penix. Madrid is the setting, but there is no verified weather forecast here to justify projecting another rain-driven offensive collapse.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Atlanta Falcons spread prediction

Spread recommendation: Cincinnati Bengals -3 (-110). The passing performance against Tennessee, Atlanta’s third-down difficulties and Ebukam’s absence collectively favor Cincinnati winning by more than a field goal. The projected eight-point margin is consistent with that selection, though the score estimate is not an independent reason to bet.

Atlanta +3 (-110) has a plausible case through Cincinnati’s defensive vulnerability and a rebound from Penix. Those risks keep this an ordinary edge. At the supplied number, Cincinnati’s offensive case is stronger; a Bengals victory by exactly three would push.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Atlanta Falcons total prediction

Total recommendation: Pass on Over 52.5 (-110) and Under 52.5 (-110). Bengals 31, Falcons 23 produces 54 points, only slightly above the line. Cincinnati’s recent scoring and defensive concerns point toward the Over, but Atlanta’s contribution is much less certain.

The Falcons’ third-down struggles create a credible lower-scoring scenario, while the rain in Tampa limits the usefulness of their shutout as an Under argument. Neither direction offers as convincing a case as the spread. The narrow difference between the projection and 52.5 is insufficient to make the total an official wager.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Atlanta Falcons Projected Score & Betting Picks

Game forecast: Bengals 31, Falcons 23. Cincinnati is the projected winner because its recent passing production and Atlanta’s missing pass-rush contributor create the clearest matchup advantage. The forecast allows the Falcons to improve substantially from their shutout without assuming they will solve their season-long third-down difficulties.

The strongest counterargument remains Cincinnati’s defense: it allowed 36 regulation points to Tennessee and enters preparation with uncertainty at edge and cornerback. That could keep Atlanta close enough to threaten the spread. Confidence is medium, reflecting a supported but imperfect edge. The single official SportsJaw wager is Cincinnati Bengals -3 (-110); the total of 52.5 (-110) remains a Pass.
