Seattle Seahawks vs Denver Broncos Predictions October 15, 2026

Game time: October 15, 2026 at 8:15 PM ET

Venue: Empower Field at Mile High — Denver, CO

Article updated Oct 10, 12:16 AM EDT

By SportsJaw Editorial Team

The Seattle Seahawks will beat the Denver Broncos 23-20 in our forecast for Oct. 15, with Denver’s uncertain cornerback availability providing the strongest matchup reason. Both Denver starters were ruled out for the preceding game, leaving their Thursday status unsettled. Neither Seattle -2.5 (-110) nor the 42.5 total offers a strong enough edge for an actionable wager. The official pick is Pass.

Seattle Seahawks vs Denver Broncos prediction and best bet

Seattle gets a narrow nod, with low confidence. The Seahawks are slight favorites, and Denver’s recent injuries at both starting cornerback spots create a potential opening. That combination favors a close Seattle victory, although the size of the passing-game opportunity depends on who returns for Denver.

The best bet is Pass. Predicting a three-point win leaves just half a point between the projected margin and Seattle -2.5. With the most consequential injury questions still tied to the preceding week’s reports, that difference is too small to justify laying the points.

Odds, game time and how to watch

Game: Seattle Seahawks at Denver Broncos, Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, in the 2026 NFL season.

Venue: Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, Colorado.

Broadcast: Prime Video.

SportsJaw moneyline: Seattle -125; Denver +122.

SportsJaw spread: Seattle -2.5 (-110); Denver +2.5 (-110).

SportsJaw total: Over 42.5 (-108); Under 42.5 (-115).

Seattle Seahawks outlook

Seattle’s Oct. 9 injury report raised questions about its running-back depth. Zach Charbonnet was listed out with a knee issue and remained on the physically unable-to-perform list despite returning to practice. George Holani was questionable with rib and knee injuries after limited participation throughout the week. Those were Week 5 designations, rather than confirmed absences against Denver.

The defensive updates were more encouraging in two spots. Coach Mike Macdonald said Leonard Williams was ready to play after an ankle injury ended his Oct. 4 game against the Chargers. Safety Ty Okada was also ready to return after missing the first four games with a hamstring injury.

That report also listed cornerback Julian Neal out with a hamstring injury and linebacker Chazz Surratt out with a calf injury. Seattle’s personnel picture therefore offers both potential reinforcements and depth concerns, rather than a clear health advantage.

Denver Broncos outlook

Denver ruled starting cornerbacks Pat Surtain II and Riley Moss out for its Oct. 11 game at the Chargers. Surtain had an ankle injury and Moss had a rib injury, both suffered in Week 4. Their recovery matters most to this forecast: having either available against Seattle would weaken the primary reason for favoring the Seahawks.

Elsewhere, Denver’s Oct. 9 report was more positive. Outside linebacker Dondrea Tillman practiced fully for a second consecutive day and had no game status for Oct. 11. Tyler Badie, D.J. Jones, Zach Allen and Adam Trautman also participated fully and carried no game status for that matchup.

The Broncos placed receiver Pat Bryant on injured reserve with an ankle injury on Oct. 9. That is a separate personnel setback, although the report supplies no basis for assigning a specific scoring impact to his absence.

Key matchup factors

The central question is whether Seattle can turn Denver’s cornerback uncertainty into a passing advantage. That is a conditional opportunity, not a confirmed mismatch. Seattle’s own backfield concerns could also complicate its ability to maintain offensive balance and protect a narrow lead.

Consensus is divided by market. At the Oct. 10 update, 04:02 UTC, Seattle -2.5 led the spread consensus at 71%, with 426 of 600 combined consensus selections. Those figures incorporate a modeled sportsbook sample and SportsJaw participation; they are not counts of observed sportsbook tickets or SportsJaw members.

Denver +122 led the moneyline consensus at 75%. That disagreement argues against treating spread popularity as proof of a Seattle edge. Neither percentage represents a team’s probability of winning, and the two markets offer different prices and conditions for a successful bet.

Seattle Seahawks vs Denver Broncos spread prediction

Spread recommendation: Pass on Seattle Seahawks -2.5 (-110) and Denver Broncos +2.5 (-110). The forecast favors Seattle by three, which would cover the supplied spread by only half a point.

Seattle is the forecast side, but the wager needs more than a projected result barely above the line. A healthier Denver secondary would weaken the case for laying points. Continued absences would make taking Denver’s points less attractive. Neither side earns an official recommendation.

Seattle Seahawks vs Denver Broncos total prediction

Total recommendation: Pass on Over 42.5 (-108) and Under 42.5 (-115). The projected 43 points sit just half a point above the total, making the score forecast insufficient grounds for an Over bet.

Potential coverage absences suggest a route to Seattle scoring opportunities, while its running-back uncertainty creates a competing concern. There is no demonstrated scoring edge strong enough to favor either total direction at the supplied price.

Seattle Seahawks vs Denver Broncos projected score

Game forecast: Seattle Seahawks 23, Denver Broncos 20. Seattle’s slight favorite status and Denver’s unresolved cornerback injuries support the selection, but confidence is low.

The strongest counterargument is a return by Surtain or Moss, which would reduce the projected matchup advantage. Seattle remains the winner in a close forecast; the single official SportsJaw betting lean is Pass.
