Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers Predictions October 11, 2026

Game time: October 11, 2026 at 4:05 PM ET

Venue: SoFi Stadium — Inglewood, CA

Article updated Oct 5, 9:48 AM EDT

By SportsJaw Editorial Team

The Denver Broncos will beat the Los Angeles Chargers 23-20 in our Oct. 11 forecast, with Los Angeles' turnover and third-down problems in Seattle providing the strongest matchup reason. Denver's own mistakes make this a low-confidence pick, however. Neither Broncos -3.5 (-105) nor the total of 42.5 (-110) offers a convincing betting edge, so the official SportsJaw recommendation is Pass.

Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers prediction and best bet

Denver gets the nod in a close game. The Chargers' most recent performance exposed several ways an offense can lose possessions: interceptions, third-down sacks and a late strip-sack. Those problems tilt the forecast toward the Broncos, though repeating them against a different opponent is far from certain.

The best betting decision is Pass. Denver also squandered scoring opportunities in its last game, and Los Angeles recovered enough after halftime to make a competitive finish plausible. Picking the Broncos to win does not require laying more than a field goal.

Odds, game time and how to watch

Game: Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers, Oct. 11, 2026, in the 2026 NFL season.

Venue: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California.

Broadcast: CBS.

SportsJaw moneyline odds: Denver -185; Los Angeles +155.

SportsJaw spread odds: Denver -3.5 (-105); Los Angeles +3.5 (-112).

SportsJaw total odds: Over 42.5 (-110); Under 42.5 (-110). These are the prices used for the recommendations below, with each market assessed separately.

Denver Broncos outlook

Denver fell to 2-2 with a 24-14 loss at San Francisco on Oct. 4. Finishing drives was a problem: the Broncos produced two field goals on their first three drives that crossed midfield. Another opportunity stalled before the red zone after they reached first-and-10 at the San Francisco 30.

Field position also worked against Denver after Marvin Mims Jr. fumbled in the third quarter. San Francisco recovered at the Denver 28 and scored on the ensuing nine-play possession. That sequence makes ball security a central part of Denver's route to a road win.

The Broncos pulled within three with 4:05 remaining through a touchdown and two-point conversion, before George Kittle's 56-yard touchdown ended the rally. Pat Surtain II and Riley Moss were absent during an earlier 74-yard touchdown drive. Those prior-game absences should not be treated as confirmed absences for this matchup.

Los Angeles Chargers outlook

Los Angeles dropped to 0-4 after losing 30-23 at Seattle on Oct. 4. Justin Herbert's first half was particularly costly: two interceptions and 5-of-15 passing for 36 yards. The Chargers converted five of 15 third downs overall, with Herbert taking two sacks on that down.

Their response after halftime gives the home side a credible counterargument. Los Angeles outscored Seattle 17-10 in the second half. Kimani Vidal caught a six-yard touchdown in the third quarter, and Omarion Hampton added a two-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth.

Tuli Tuipulotu's first career interception also created a scoring opportunity that ended with Cameron Dicker's 40-yard field goal. The comeback ultimately stopped when Herbert was strip-sacked on the final possession. Los Angeles showed scoring potential, but protecting possessions remains the immediate concern.

Key matchup factors

Possession quality matters more to this forecast than either record alone. Denver needs to finish promising drives, while Los Angeles needs to avoid losing opportunities before its offense can build momentum. Neither team's last game makes those improvements automatic, which keeps the projected margin narrow.

As of Oct. 5 at 13:37 UTC, SportsJaw's blended consensus favored Denver -3.5 at 62%, Los Angeles +155 at 60% and Under 42.5 at 80%. The total's equivalent sample was 480 Under selections out of 600, incorporating modeled sportsbook support and SportsJaw participation. These figures are not observed sportsbook ticket counts or win probabilities.

Support shifted five percentage points toward Chargers +3.5 from the Oct. 4 snapshot. That is a change in consensus support, not a reported spread-price move. The opposing spread and moneyline leaders also caution against describing the consensus as a unified Denver endorsement.

Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers spread prediction

Spread recommendation: Pass on Denver -3.5 (-105) and Los Angeles +3.5 (-112). The forecast puts Denver ahead by three, which would favor a Chargers cover, but that narrow distinction is too fragile to turn into an official wager.

Los Angeles' second-half recovery offers a reason to consider the points. Its turnovers offer a reason to hesitate. Denver's own missed opportunities further complicate the margin, leaving neither side with a convincing advantage at its supplied price.

Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers total prediction

Total recommendation: Pass on Over 42.5 (-110) and Under 42.5 (-110). Denver's last game produced 38 combined points; the Chargers' last game produced 53. Those contrasting outcomes leave room for either a restrained game or another uneven, higher-scoring contest.

The 80% Under consensus is substantial support, but popularity alone does not make the price attractive. Offensive mistakes can end drives or hand opponents short fields. A projected 43 points sits only half a point above the total, too close to justify an Over recommendation.

Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers projected score

Game forecast: Denver Broncos 23, Los Angeles Chargers 20. Denver wins a tight contest as the Chargers' recent possession problems outweigh their encouraging second-half response. That response is the strongest counterargument, especially with Denver also struggling to convert opportunities.

Confidence is low. This is a slight Denver lean, not a clear mismatch, and the projected margin and total both sit close to the supplied lines. The single official SportsJaw betting recommendation is Pass.
