Las Vegas Raiders vs New England Patriots Predictions October 11, 2026

Game time: October 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET

Venue: Gillette Stadium — Foxborough, MA

Article updated Oct 4, 9:04 AM EDT

By SportsJaw Editorial Team

The Las Vegas Raiders are projected to beat the New England Patriots 23-20, with their early pass-rush production offering the strongest matchup advantage against New England’s recently unsettled right tackle position. Confidence is low because the protection concerns precede this game and the market favors the Patriots. Neither Raiders +3.5 (-110) nor the total of 44 (-110) offers a clear enough edge for an official wager.

Las Vegas Raiders vs New England Patriots prediction and best bet

Las Vegas is the pick for a narrow road win, but the official betting recommendation is Pass. The Raiders’ pressure production gives them a credible route to disrupting New England’s offense. That matchup drives the forecast more than their early takeaway total, which should not be treated as a promise of another turnover-heavy performance.

The distinction matters at this price. Picking an upset does not make the underdog an automatic bet. Three games of defensive production and injury reports for the preceding week leave enough uncertainty to keep confidence low and the spread off the official card.

Odds, game time and how to watch

Game time: Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026, at 1 p.m. EDT, during the 2026 NFL season.

Venue: Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Broadcast: CBS.

SportsJaw spread: Las Vegas Raiders +3.5 (-110); New England Patriots -3.5 (-110).

SportsJaw moneyline: Las Vegas +160; New England -192. Total: Over 44 (-110) or Under 44 (-110).

Record context: Las Vegas entered Week 4 at 3-0. That is its record before the Oct. 4 Kansas City game, not a confirmed record entering this matchup.

Las Vegas Raiders outlook

The Raiders generated 10 sacks through three games, fourth-most in the NFL, and ranked second with a 36.3% pressure rate. Maxx Crosby had 17 pressures, Malcolm Koonce 11 and Kwity Paye nine. Production from all three is the most persuasive reason to expect Las Vegas to challenge New England’s protection.

Las Vegas also led the league with nine takeaways and a plus-five turnover margin. Its 23 points off takeaways represented roughly one-quarter of its scoring, while its average drive began at its own 39.9-yard line, the league’s best starting position. Those advantages helped the offense, but they also make the early scoring results sensitive to how often the defense creates another short field.

Starting right guard Jackson Powers-Johnson was ruled out of the Oct. 4 Kansas City game with a groin injury. That ruling applies to Kansas City; it should not be carried forward as an absence against New England.

New England Patriots outlook

New England’s right tackle situation is the clearest concern in this matchup. Morgan Moses allowed three pressures in the Sept. 27 loss at Jacksonville. Rookie Caleb Lomu played the final 20 snaps and surrendered two pressures on 14 pass-blocking snaps. Moses then traveled to Buffalo with a questionable designation because of a foot injury.

The Patriots also ruled cornerback Christian Gonzalez and defensive tackle Christian Barmore out of the Oct. 4 Buffalo game with shoulder injuries. Those are relevant recent health concerns, but neither player’s availability for Las Vegas is confirmed by that report.

Through three games, New England ranked 29th in expected points added per play from two-back formations, at minus-0.34. That personnel grouping had struggled, although its results should not be used as a rating of the entire Patriots offense.

Key matchup factors

Protection is the central matchup because pressure can disrupt possessions even without a takeaway. The Raiders have demonstrated that capability. The uncertainty is how New England’s line will look on Oct. 11, making the earlier tackle concerns a reason for a cautious forecast rather than a settled advantage.

The Oct. 4 consensus update at 12:59 UTC favors New England on the moneyline at 74%. Its combined modeled equivalent sample assigns 444 of 600 selections to the Patriots. Those figures are consensus measures, not observed sportsbook ticket counts or a 74% win probability.

Both the spread and total consensus are evenly divided at 50%. Neither tie supplies a directional betting edge, and the moneyline preference is a meaningful counterweight to the Raiders forecast.

Las Vegas Raiders vs New England Patriots spread prediction

Pass on Las Vegas +3.5 (-110) and New England -3.5 (-110). The Raiders’ pressure profile makes the points appealing, and a three-point loss would still cover their spread. However, the forecast depends on a defensive advantage drawn from a short early-season sample.

New England’s favorite status deserves consideration, while its previous injury designations are too dated to justify betting against confirmed absences here. Las Vegas is the projected winner, but the margin of conviction is too small to turn that prediction into a spread wager.

Las Vegas Raiders vs New England Patriots total prediction

Pass on both Over 44 (-110) and Under 44 (-110). Pressure can stall drives, while takeaways can create easy scoring opportunities. The Raiders’ early defensive results therefore pull the scoring outlook in competing directions.

The projected 43 points sit just below the line, but a one-point difference is too slight to justify an Under recommendation. The evenly divided total consensus adds no directional reason to bet either side.

Las Vegas Raiders vs New England Patriots projected score

Game forecast: Las Vegas Raiders 23, New England Patriots 20. The Raiders’ pass rush gets the deciding weight in a close matchup, with low confidence.

The strongest counterargument is New England’s home-favorite position and substantial moneyline consensus support. Combined with uncertainty about game-week personnel, that keeps the forecast fragile. The single official SportsJaw betting recommendation is Pass.
