Arkansas Razorbacks vs Auburn Tigers Betting Picks & Predictions

Game time: November 7, 2026 at 12:45 PM ET

Venue: Jordan-Hare Stadium — Auburn, AL

Article updated Nov 1, 10:01 AM EST

By SportsJaw Editorial Team

Auburn will beat Arkansas 27-17 in our forecast for Nov. 7, 2026. Arkansas' stalled rushing attack and four turnovers against Missouri give the Tigers the strongest matchup opening, although Auburn also enters off a heavy defeat. Confidence is low, and neither Auburn -11.5 (-154) nor the 50.5 total offers a compelling wager. The official SportsJaw recommendation is Pass.

Arkansas Razorbacks vs Auburn Tigers prediction and best bet

Auburn gets the pick at home, with Arkansas' offensive problems against Missouri carrying the most weight. The Razorbacks rushed for 59 yards on 36 carries in a 34-10 defeat. Missouri also turned three Arkansas fumbles and a KJ Jackson interception into 24 points. A repeat would leave Arkansas trying to win while struggling both to run and protect the ball.

Auburn's own 45-15 loss at No. 12 Ole Miss keeps this a low-confidence forecast. The Tigers need a better performance themselves, and picking them to win requires less conviction than backing a double-digit margin. Our projection is Auburn 27, Arkansas 17. Neither spread nor total earns a bet.

Arkansas Razorbacks outlook

Arkansas' Missouri performance contained two separate problems. The rushing attack generated only 59 yards despite 36 attempts, while four giveaways produced an enormous scoring return for the opponent. Fixing one without improving the other might still leave the Razorbacks chasing the game. Better ball security is the clearest route to a closer result, but Arkansas also needs more production from its rushing opportunities.

Jackson completed 20 of 34 passes for 229 yards and scored a rushing touchdown. That passing output is the strongest reason to leave room for Arkansas to challenge Auburn. The Razorbacks gained yards through the air even with limited rushing production. Yet the final total of 10 points warns against treating passing yardage alone as a sign that the offense played well.

For this matchup, the question is whether Arkansas can turn those passing gains into scoring possessions without another costly turnover sequence. Jackson's interception was one part of the Missouri damage; the three fumbles made it a broader ball-security problem. The forecast allows Arkansas to improve on its 10-point showing, but still gives Auburn the advantage. A cleaner Arkansas performance is the main threat to that call.

Auburn Tigers outlook

Auburn returns to Jordan-Hare Stadium after allowing 45 points and scoring 15 at Ole Miss. The opponent was ranked No. 12, which matters when interpreting the defeat, but a 30-point loss remains a substantial caution. At 4-4 overall and 2-4 in SEC play afterward, Auburn enters this matchup with a recent result that makes an emphatic rebound difficult to assume.

Byrum Brown completed 25 of 38 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown. Those completions show Auburn could connect through the air, though the yardage and team scoring offer a more restrained picture than the completion count alone. The Tigers will need those connections to yield more points to reach our projected 27.

Chas Nimrod caught four passes for 62 yards, and Christian Neptune added five receptions for a season-high 53 yards. Their contributions give the forecast specific receiving production to consider rather than relying solely on the change of venue. Auburn's preferred route is a more productive passing afternoon combined with Arkansas continuing to struggle on the ground. That is a plausible winning scenario, but the Ole Miss result argues against assuming the Tigers will control every phase or comfortably cover 11.5 points.

Key matchup factors

The biggest swing factor is how much Arkansas improves its ball security. Missouri scored 24 points from four Razorbacks turnovers. That explains a large part of the previous defeat, but Auburn cannot be credited with those opportunities in advance. If Arkansas avoids a similar sequence, the Tigers will need to earn more of their advantage through sustained offensive production.

Both teams also face a scoring-efficiency question: Arkansas produced 229 passing yards but 10 points, while Auburn completed 25 passes but finished with 15 points. Neither passing line guarantees a rebound. The forecast favors Auburn's home setting and Arkansas' rushing difficulties, with limited confidence in the size of the separation.

Arkansas Razorbacks vs Auburn Tigers spread prediction

Spread recommendation: Pass on Auburn -11.5 (-154) and Arkansas +11.5 (-146). Our 10-point projected margin favors Arkansas relative to the spread, but the small cushion is too fragile to justify its price. Another turnover-heavy afternoon could quickly erase it.

Auburn's price requires confidence in a win by at least 12, which is hard to muster after its own heavy loss. The supplied moneylines are Auburn -465 and Arkansas +360. Auburn remains our projected winner, but that call alone offers no reason to force a spread wager.

Arkansas Razorbacks vs Auburn Tigers total prediction

Total recommendation: Pass on Over 50.5 (-106) and Under 50.5 (-114). The forecast totals 44 points, making Under the closer fit to our expected result. Arkansas' rushing difficulties and both teams' modest scoring in their latest games support that expectation.

The uncertainty is substantial. Auburn just conceded 45 points, and Arkansas' giveaways helped Missouri score 24. Another disruptive turnover sequence could push scoring beyond the forecast. Two poor offensive results against ranked opponents are too narrow a foundation for an official Under wager, even with the projection below 50.5.

Arkansas Razorbacks vs Auburn Tigers Projected Score & Betting Picks

Game forecast: Auburn 27, Arkansas 17, with low confidence. Arkansas' combination of limited rushing production and costly giveaways tips the call toward the Tigers. Brown, Nimrod and Neptune supply a plausible passing route to an improved Auburn scoring performance.

The strongest counterargument is Auburn's own 45-15 defeat. Arkansas also has evidence of passing production through Jackson. Recent series results cut both ways: Auburn won 33-24 at Arkansas in 2025, while Arkansas won 24-14 at Auburn in 2024. Neither settles this year's matchup.

The projected winner is Auburn. The spread and total are separate decisions, and both remain passes at the supplied prices. Official SportsJaw wager: Pass.
