Kent St. Golden Flashes vs Bowling Green Falcons prediction, odds and best bet for Nov. 10, 2026

Game time: November 10, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET

Venue: Doyt L. Perry Stadium — Bowling Green, OH

Article updated Nov 7, 1:21 AM EST

By SportsJaw Editorial Team

Bowling Green will beat Kent State 24-20 in our forecast for Nov. 10, with its strong third-down results in MAC play and Myles Bradley’s recent sack production driving the selection. Confidence is low: those strengths favor the Falcons without making a comfortable victory compelling. Neither Bowling Green -5.5 nor the 45.5 total offers a sufficiently supported wager. The official recommendation is Pass.

Kent St. Golden Flashes vs Bowling Green Falcons prediction and best bet

Bowling Green is the straight-up selection because its conference third-down performance gives it a plausible route to extending possessions and stopping Kent State drives. The Falcons rank first in the MAC in offensive third-down conversion rate during conference games and second on defense, according to Bowling Green Athletics’ Nov. 5 preview.

Those rankings support a narrow Falcons victory, but they are not a direct statistical comparison with Kent State’s offense or defense. The distinction matters at Bowling Green -5.5 (-110). Our four-point projected margin favors neither an official Falcons wager nor an automatic bet on the Golden Flashes. Best bet: Pass.

Kent St. Golden Flashes outlook

Kent State has one more overall victory than Bowling Green, while the teams have identical conference records. That is a reasonable counterweight to enthusiasm for the home favorite, although the records alone say little about how the Golden Flashes will handle this particular defense.

Receiver Wayne Harris had surpassed 1,000 career receiving yards after the Oct. 30 Sacramento State game, according to Bowling Green’s preview citing Kent State’s current reporting. That milestone supplies personnel context, but it is not a measure of his expected production Tuesday.

Kent State’s offensive priority in this forecast is avoiding repeated difficult passing downs. Bradley’s recent sack production makes that a meaningful concern. A competitive Golden Flashes performance would require enough successful early-down plays to reduce those opportunities; that is a proposed route to an upset, not an established offensive strength.

Bowling Green Falcons outlook

Bowling Green has converted 31 of 64 third downs in MAC games, or 48.4%, while allowing opponents to convert 23 of 66, or 34.8%. Those results offer a specific reason to favor the Falcons despite their 2-7 overall record.

Bradley has recorded at least a half-sack in five of his last six games, collecting eight of his nine season sacks during that stretch. The official preview lists his 1.00 sack per game first in the MAC and tied for fourth nationally. Linebacker Dorian Pringle has led the team in tackles in seven of nine games, including the last five, when he totaled 48.

Against Western Michigan on Oct. 31, Nakai Amachree rushed for 61 yards on 11 carries and added three receptions for 17 yards with Austyn Dendy out. That describes the previous game’s workload; Dendy’s status for Tuesday is not confirmed here.

Key matchup factors

The central question is whether Bowling Green can translate its conference third-down efficiency into enough extra possessions or sustained drives to separate. Bradley’s pressure offers another possible advantage, but sacks and conversion rates do not by themselves determine scoring output.

Series history adds context rather than a reliable margin prediction. Bowling Green leads 62-35-6 entering the 94th meeting. Kent State won 24-21 in 2025, while the Falcons won the previous two meetings, including 27-6 at home in 2024. Those different results offer no consistent template for Tuesday’s finish.

Kent St. Golden Flashes vs Bowling Green Falcons spread prediction

Spread recommendation: Pass on Kent State +5.5 (-110) and Bowling Green -5.5 (-110). Our 24-20 forecast falls on the Kent State side of the spread, but that small cushion is too fragile to turn into a recommendation.

Bowling Green must win by at least six points to cover. Its third-down results make that outcome plausible, while its overall record tempers confidence in a decisive win. Kent State’s better record and last season’s victory are insufficient reasons on their own to buy the underdog.

Kent St. Golden Flashes vs Bowling Green Falcons total prediction

Total recommendation: Pass on Over 45.5 (-110) and Under 45.5 (-110). The projected 44 points sit only 1.5 below the supplied total, leaving little room for error.

Bowling Green’s defensive third-down results and Bradley’s sacks suggest ways possessions could stall. Its offensive conversion rate suggests ways drives could continue. Without a fuller scoring profile for both teams, neither possibility deserves enough weight to justify a total wager.

Kent St. Golden Flashes vs Bowling Green Falcons Projected Score & Betting Picks

Game forecast: Bowling Green Falcons 24, Kent St. Golden Flashes 20. The Falcons’ conference third-down efficiency and recent pass-rush production drive the selection. The strongest counterargument is that those encouraging indicators coexist with a worse overall record and the same MAC record as Kent State.

Confidence is low. This is a narrow editorial forecast, with both the spread and total rated Pass. The single official SportsJaw betting recommendation is Pass.
