Staff Prediction
Kendre Miller's status ahead of this one might be the biggest piece of information bettors need to know ahead of this one. However, TCU will keep this one close. They play the game the right way and Bennett is careless with the ball at times. The Bulldogs secondary has struggled and TCU is filled with talent on offense. The Horned Frogs defense also showed up huge against Michigan and if they can repeat that here, they may win this one outright.
Pick: TCU +13

Georgia is my team and I think they win today but it will be a lot closer of a game then people think. Taking the points in any championship game in general is a good rule of thumb. I did a ranked sim score and it came out GA 33.5 TCU 30. Now that's 2 pointers in favor of a TCU cover. One more thing to put into consideration. Michigan beat Ohio State 45 to 23. Georgia almost lost to Ohio State. TCU Beat Michigan. Take the points with TCU. There is no reason not to.

TCU is loaded with 2, 3 and a few 4 star recruit's. But some of them are 4, 5 and even 6 year players thanks to the Covid extension. So with age and experience they may have an edge over the much more talented Georgia. Georgia on the other hand is loaded with 3, 4 and 5 star recruit's who are all very young, but extremely talented. I'll take experience and wisdom over young and talented - give me the points and Go Frogs Go.

Can TCU win? Of course, that is why we play the game. But has TCU faced anyone remotely as talented as Georgia? No, not quite. Yes, LSU scored well against Georgia. But LSU, runnerup in the SEC title game, put Purdue, runnerup in the Big Ten title game into intensive care. And Bama did the same to K-State, title champion for the Big 12. Yes, Ohio St gave Georgia a run for its money, but Ohio St is immensely talented, and for the first time this season that talent jelled against Georgia for 3 quarters. TCU has not had a superior recruitment year in eons, and I think lucked out that OU struggled with a new coach, and benefitted when Bama knocked the wheels off the Texas wagon with a bruising hard fought game early in the season. Texas never could sustain itself after Bama. All things considered, the bowl games have shown us that the top SEC schools are heads and shoulders above the rest of the country, and I am counting when Tennessee dismantled Clemson. I see this as a 38-20 type game, Georgia covers.

All season we've heard *TCU sure looks impressive but don't expect them to perform against _____' FILL IN THE BLANK WITH YOUR FAVORITE OVERRATED TEAM WHO LOST. (Georgia excluded).
I don't think they come within a prayer of beating the Dawgs, but they aren't going to get blown out. They have a very underrated defense and a strong overall offensive attack. And for once Georgia WON'T have the most talented player on the field on their team.
Max Duggan performs magic acts.

TCU a great team fun to watch, they are fast and very physical on both sides of the ball! I don't think they will score like they did against Michigan! The Wolverines were outcoached they kept on trying to blitz and it didn't work! Don't worry about the large number, TCU will not be able to run against the Bulldogs and Georgia should score at will

Both teams have a comparable offense and the Bulldogs have a significantly better defense. The Bulldogs won more games straight up and against the spread over their last 3 matchups. Adjusted score predictions based on power rankings and strength of schedule: Horned Frogs 19 to Bulldogs 45.
