Monmouth has had the worst start
To begin the season, Monmouth lost eight straight games. The teams that lost were Seton Hall, Virginia, Illinois, Norfolk State, Colgate, Cornell, Lehigh and Rider. Last weekend, the Hawks beat Manhattan for the first time. By halftim e, Monmouth led Manhattan 44-29. Despite being outscored 40-32 from there, the Hawks won 76-69. A 21-point and two-rebound performance by Myles Ruth led the way.
Princeton lost to Hofstra and Navy in their first two matches. UMBC, Marist, Army, Northeastern, Cairn, and Drexel were the Tigers' next six opponents.

Princeton continued its winning streak on Tuesday against Lafayette. The Tigers led by three points at halftime and won 69-58 after 38 second-half points. With 19 points and five rebounds, Ryan Langborg led the way.
Right now, the Tigers are on a seven-game winning streak. In seven of Princeton's nine games, they scored 69 or more points. Monmouth played well against Manhattan in their last game. However, the Hawks have been struggling this season, giving up 80 points or more in four out of five games. The Tigers should be able to put up a big score here.
