Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors Betting Picks & Predictions

Game time: November 1, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET

Venue: Chase Center — San Francisco, CA

Article updated Nov 1, 8:25 AM EST

By SportsJaw Editorial Team

Golden State will beat the Los Angeles Clippers 109-106 in our forecast, supported by its stronger scoring differential and rebounding profile. The Warriors’ extensive injury list makes that advantage fragile, however. Neither Golden State -2.5 (-105) nor Under 219.5 (-115) offers a convincing betting edge at the supplied prices. The official SportsJaw recommendation is Pass, with low confidence in the forecast.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors prediction and best bet

Golden State gets the nod because its positive scoring and rebounding margins compare favorably with the Clippers’ deficits in both categories. The Warriors average 116.7 points and allow 115.3; Los Angeles scores 105.4 and allows 111.8. That favors Golden State overall, although the Clippers have the lower points-allowed average.

The best betting decision is Pass. Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler III and Draymond Green are among Golden State’s confirmed absences, making the season averages an uncertain guide to this lineup. Los Angeles also has five players listed out. A narrow Warriors victory is the forecast, but neither a spread bet nor a total bet earns an official recommendation.

SportsJaw total: Over 219.5 (-105); Under 219.5 (-115).

Availability: The NBA’s 8:00 a.m. ET injury report lists five players out for each team. Golden State forward Gui Santos is probable with left-knee tendinitis.

Los Angeles Clippers outlook

The Clippers’ offense is the biggest concern in their statistical profile. AM 570 LA Sports reports 105.4 points per game and a minus-32 aggregate scoring differential. Their 111.8 points allowed per game is better than Golden State’s corresponding figure, but Los Angeles has not scored enough to turn that comparison into a positive overall margin.

Darius Garland leads the Clippers with 22.0 points per game. His scoring offers a route to an upset, especially against a Warriors team allowing 115.3. The matchup asks whether Los Angeles can exploit that defensive average while dealing with its own absences. Garland’s scoring lead alone is no guarantee that the remaining offense can bridge the gap.

The official report lists Bradley Beal out for right-knee injury management, Brandon Ingram out following right-heel surgery, Jordan Miller out following left rotator-cuff surgery, Yanic Konan Niederhauser out following right Lisfranc surgery, and Max Strus out with a right plantar-fascia tear.

Rebounding is another concern: Los Angeles collects 40.8 per game and allows 43.2. Limiting extra opportunities would help the Clippers keep this within one possession. Their case rests on containing Golden State and improving their own scoring, rather than matching the Warriors’ season offensive average.

Golden State Warriors outlook

Golden State brings the stronger offensive average, scoring 11.3 more points per game than Los Angeles. Its aggregate scoring differential is plus-eight, and its rebounding averages also run in the right direction: 43.8 collected against 41.8 allowed. Those are the clearest statistical reasons to favor the Warriors in a close game.

Yaxel Lendeborg is listed as Golden State’s scoring leader at 19.8 points per game. That is a useful reference for this matchup, but the larger team average needs careful interpretation with so many players unavailable. It would be aggressive to expect 116.7 points simply because that is what Golden State has averaged.

Curry is out for right-knee injury management, Butler following right ACL repair/surgery, Green for bilateral low-back injury management, and Moses Moody following left patellar-tendon repair/surgery. Kristaps Porzingis is out because he is not with the team. Santos is probable, rather than confirmed available.

The weakness in Golden State’s statistical case is its 115.3 points allowed per game. The Warriors have the better scoring differential, but the worse defensive scoring average. That distinction leaves room for a Clippers upset and makes a comfortable home victory an ambitious expectation. The forecast asks Golden State to win narrowly through its overall scoring and rebounding advantages.

Key matchup factors

Rebounding supplies a useful contrast: Golden State averages two more rebounds than it allows, while Los Angeles averages 2.4 fewer. Those margins favor the Warriors, although they are team averages rather than a direct measure of how Sunday’s available players match up.

SportsJaw’s November 1 update at 13:20 UTC shows a 77% blended preference for Golden State -2.5. The member preference is narrower at 54%, and qualified handicappers favor that spread at 58%. These are selection shares, not Golden State’s chance of covering.

The injuries remain the central uncertainty. Missing players can affect both scoring and defense, so their absence alone is insufficient reason to bet a lower total.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors spread prediction

Spread recommendation: Pass on Golden State Warriors -2.5 (-105) and Los Angeles Clippers +2.5 (-115). The projected three-point Warriors win clears their spread by just half a point, leaving little cushion for a fragile forecast.

Fade the Public Analytics reported 86% of spread tickets and 91% of spread money on Golden State in its snapshot. That is separate from SportsJaw’s consensus. Heavy support does not make the Clippers an automatic value play, and Golden State’s absences discourage following the favorite. Neither side offers enough advantage at these prices.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors total prediction

Total recommendation: Pass on Over 219.5 (-105) and Under 219.5 (-115). The 215-point projection falls below the line, but the scoring case is mixed. Los Angeles’ 105.4-point average favors a lower expectation; Golden State’s 116.7 scored and 115.3 allowed pull the other way.

SportsJaw’s blended preference is 82% for Over 219.5, while members and qualified handicappers each favor the Over at 60%. Those preferences are not scoring probabilities. With injuries affecting both ends and no quantified lineup adjustment, the projected gap is too uncertain to justify paying -115 for the Under.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors Projected Score & Betting Picks

Game forecast: Golden State Warriors 109, Los Angeles Clippers 106. Golden State’s positive scoring differential and favorable rebounding comparison earn it the selection. The Clippers’ offensive average keeps their projected output modest, while the Warriors’ absences temper expectations for the home attack.

The strongest counterargument is that Golden State’s season advantages may not survive this depleted lineup. Los Angeles also allows fewer points per game, giving the visitors a credible route to reversing the forecast. Confidence is low. The three-point margin and 215-point total are editorial estimates, with too much uncertainty to turn either into a wager. Both markets are a Pass, and the single official SportsJaw betting recommendation is Pass.
