Ravens at Colts: New Baltimore line adds uncertainty to Week 1

Matchup and market

The Baltimore Ravens visit the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, September 13, 2026, with kickoff at 1 p.m. ET. This is a Week 1 matchup in the 2026 NFL season. Both teams finished 8-9 and missed the playoffs in 2025, according to Axios Indianapolis.

Baltimore is priced at -175 on the moneyline and -3.5 (-110) against the spread. Indianapolis is +150 outright and +3.5 (-110). Over 48 (-110) and under 48 (-110) are the listed total options. Those prices establish Baltimore as the market favorite, but do not independently establish value.

Baltimore's interior draws attention

The Ravens' preview identifies three new interior offensive-line starters: John Simpson, Jovaughn Gwyn and rookie Vega Ioane. Gwyn and Ioane are scheduled to make their first NFL starts against an Indianapolis interior featuring DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart.

Jesse Minter makes his head-coaching debut, while offensive coordinator Declan Doyle begins his first season calling plays. Baltimore's offensive starters did not participate in the preseason. Those changes leave questions about execution, without establishing that Indianapolis will control the matchup.

Availability and the betting decision

Baltimore has ruled out defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike with a neck injury and linebacker Teddye Buchanan with a knee injury. Jonathan Taylor led the NFL in carries, rushing touchdowns and yards after contact last season, according to the Ravens' opponent preview.

Axios reports that Daniel Jones says he has fully recovered from his Achilles tear. That remains an attributed assessment, rather than proof of how he will perform. Colts receiver Alec Pierce is expected to play following ankle surgery, though he was limited throughout the practice week.

The line changes and availability reports identify meaningful questions, but do not establish a likely winning margin or scoring range. Pass on the spread, moneyline and total. There is insufficient support for a winner selection or projected score.
