Northwestern St. Demons vs Weber St. Wildcats Predictions

Noah Kjar’s production strengthens Weber State’s case, but the available evidence does not establish value at the supplied prices.

Matchup outlook

The Northwestern State Demons visit the Weber State Wildcats at Stewart Stadium in Ogden on September 19, 2026, in a college football matchup. Weber State enters 1-2 after three road games and begins its home schedule under Eric Kjar. Northwestern State is 0-3.

Weber State receiver Noah Kjar has 22 catches for 385 yards and six receiving touchdowns through three games, with more than 100 receiving yards in each. That production supplies a concrete offensive strength, although it does not establish how comfortably the Wildcats can separate against this opponent.

There is also reason for caution about Weber State’s defense. Colorado gained 578 total yards, including 398 passing yards, in a 52-21 victory over the Wildcats on September 12. Weber State threw three touchdown passes in that loss. Its 39-0 win over Northwestern State in 2024 is historical context, not sufficient evidence for another similarly large margin.

Scoring uncertainty

Northwestern State lost 38-14 at East Texas A&M on September 12. Its touchdowns came on Geoffrey Ojeh’s 37-yard fumble return and Zay Davis’s 60-yard touchdown reception. The Demons scored no second-half points, and coach Blaine McCorkle identified tackling and sustaining and finishing drives as problems.

Davis offers an explosive threat: he also had a 60-yard rushing gain against Louisiana Christian. Those individual plays deserve consideration, but they do not demonstrate consistent scoring. Northwestern State’s defense allowed 148 yards after halftime against East Texas A&M, adding a counterpoint to the lopsided final result.

Betting decision

SportsJaw lists Weber State at -10,000 moneyline and -33.5 (-120), with Northwestern State at +2,250 moneyline and +33.5 (-106). The total is 52.5, priced over -106 and under -120.

Pass. The available results and player production do not establish an edge at those prices. Neither a projected winning margin nor a combined scoring estimate is sufficiently supported to recommend a side or total.
