It wasn’t a pretty win, but the Cincinnati Bengals pulled through against the Minnesota Vikings. Joe Burrow picked up where he left off before that knee injury. Likewise, Ja’Marr Chase proved his doubters wrong by missing just one catch and fielding a 50-yard touchdown pass from Burrow. Joe Mixon also showed up with 127 yards and a touchdown.

However, the troubles of the Bengals offensive line still persist, as proven by the five sacks they surrendered to Minnesota. That’s a weakness that the Chicago Bears defensive unit can exploit. Akiem Hicks, Robert Quinn, and Khalil Mack can generate pressure to disrupt Burrow’s timing. But as solid Chicago’s defense is, the Bears offense has its share of struggles.

Are Andy Dalton’s days as starting quarterback numbered? He failed to throw a touchdown pass and registered an interception. In contrast, Justin Fields scored a rushing touchdown for the Bears, so did David Montgomery. Chicago’s depth on offense is shallow and shaking things up can improve their production.

Even if the Bears are playing at home and they have a crowd that can go loud whenever the opponent goes on offense, the Bengals have enough firepower to edge Chicago at Soldier Field. They will have a 2-0 start that no one saw coming.
