Miami +3 and give me the over 49. Pretty bad defenses. Expect a lot of points and give me the points. Prediction: Miami outright 31 - 27.Plus Minshew called Fitzpatrick an old man. I like Fitz to teach Minshew a lesson on respecting your elders.. lol..
The jags have looked real good in their first 2 games. Sure the dolphins hung with buffalo at home last week, but on a short week on the road, I like the jags offense to be enough to cover a field goal
Some Notes before I dive it -Jags are 5-0 in their last 5 september games -Dolphins are 0-4 in last 4 thursday games
To be fair, the dolphins have just been terrible im sure in their last 5 thirsday games but its at least intriguing.
Run game/Defense-Advantage JAC -Miami is probably the worst run team in the league -Jags run defense has been pretty solid against the titans and colts so far this year.
Passing game/Defense= Advantage MIA -Miami has thrown the 9th most so far this year -JAC is 30th against the pass this year (yikes)
JAC is the better team here, although i might put dolphins in a teaser here as Fitzmagic is the king of backdoor covers or something close to it. JAC offense isnt elite enough to dominate a team, even though its hte dolphins
JACKSONVILLE INJURY UPDATE: Jaguars WR D.J. Chark (chest) is "trending upward" for Thursday Night Football against the Dolphins.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero said the team's final call on Chark's availability would come closer to game time. Jags wide receivers have a tasty matchup against an injury-ravaged Miami secondary that's given up the third most passing yardage through two weeks. If Chark can't go, Keelan Cole -- who leads the Jaguars in targets -- becomes an intriguing upside play against the Dolphins. Rookie Swiss army knife Laviska Shenault would also get a bump with Chark out.

This isn't exactly the type of game that is going to boost NFL Network's subscriptions, but I guess betting it will make it worth watching. Jacksonvilles roster is basically made up for 2nd string players, and outcasts and doesn't have any real star power. But as bad as Jacksonville is the Dolphins an Jets are the worst teams. I think Minshew will have another great day and best Fitzpatrick. Score Prediction: Jaguars 30-Dolphins 20.
Hrm, I honestly don't follow either of these teams that close but when I see news being published from Miami talking about how they expected a bad season due to growing pains from a young team, it makes me quickly side with Jacksonville who's been covering their spreads this season.
I'm going to go with the trend that Vegas is undervaluing Jacksonville, who should be able to win by a field goal. Small favor on the Over as well - neither team shows a lot of defense so could be a nice game of pitch and catch.
