    • Both of these are Leans but i honestly think Lindsay being out is better for the Broncos because it gives gordon time to get a rythm instead of splitting carries with Lindsay. The under is a great tease spot i think but im gonna lay the points, especially at 7.5 on some sites. I think Steelers win in the 3-7 range today

    • NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (toe) is out 2-4 weeks.

Lindsay suffered a toe sprain in Week 1 versus the Titans that will keep him out until at least Week 4. Melvin Gordon will serve as Denver's three-down back in his absence. The Broncos were reluctant to let Royce Freeman get much work as Gordon's backup after Lindsay went down. He played on just six snaps and saw a single carry plus a catch. Gordon's matchup versus Pittsburgh is brutal but the volume he should see makes him an RB2/3.

    • NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder, questionable) "has a good chance to play today."

Sutton should still be a game-time decision but the news is trending positive on him. He suffered an AC joint injury that ultimately held him out of action in Week 1. He logged limited practices throughout the week. Denver desperately needs Sutton back if they want to avoid starting the year with two losses. They travel to Pittsburgh this week and will face a dominant defense. Sutton's presence on the outside will help Drew Lock in his bid to upset the Steelers. He wasn't able to get much production from his receivers in Week 1. Jerry Jeudy led all Denver wideouts with 56 yards while TE Noah Fant reached 81 yards.

    • Unfortunately, I think Pittsburghs defense is going to give Denver a lot of trouble, and the lack of Von Miller and AJ Bouye on the defensive side, paired with Big Bens quick passing game will be too much for the Broncos to handle in their first road contest. I think they drop to 0-2. I like the Steelers in a 28-13 type of game.

    • If the Steelers play the kind of defense that would make it tough for the Broncos to do their part, the Under is very achievable 40.5 is the lowest O/U on the Week 2 slate. But the Broncos have enough weapons to make enough plays to help cover the spread even if it means a garbage-time touchdown late. Taking the OVER 40.5 here.
