Dallas: Ill admit i had a pretty solid chunk of change on cowboys last week ($2500) and was very sad and drank myself to sleep that night. But i am going back to the well but not as much confidence here. Their offense didnt look bad. Mccarthy is just an idiot. Their defense is significantly better and their offensive line should hold more than the falcons.
Falcons: Similar to cowboys, their offense played well despite their low point total. This offense has so many weapons and they run a lot of screens, which we saw the Cowgirls struggle with last week. I think they contain Julio relatively well but Ridley and gurley can get it goin.
Im going with the cowgirls but im buying the hook to -3 ( like a smart bettor). Im gonna have my big play be on the over for this game. Both of these offenses are elite and defenses are ASS. gotta roll with the over for 2 units and cowboys for 1 maybe even half
Falcons LT Jake Matthews (knee) is expected to play Week 2 against the Cowboys.
Matthews missed practice Wednesday with a knee injury. The Falcons line only gave up two sacks in Week 1 despite Matt Ryan attempting 54 passes in their losing effort to Seattle. Matthews' presence on the left side will help give Ryan clean pockets again this week in another game that should feature loads of scoring.
Last week, the Falcons wasted a promising first-half performance during their 38-25 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The Cowboys looked good but lost to the Los Angeles Rams after a questionable decision to go for it on 4th down and lost 20-17.
Atlanta features an extremely explosive offense and I expect the Falcons to have another solid day against the Cowboys, but they have to get the run game going. Gurley was non-existent in the second half of last weeks game, but he should have a bigger role this week.
The Cowboys secondary isnt the best, so the pass game will continue to be consistent. With Julio Jones needing extra attention, Calvin Ridley will have another big game.
I think this game sets up to be a shootout - The Falcons defense may be a little worse than the Cowboys, which is why Ill give Dallas the advantage in this one. They just have too many weapons to account for on offense, and the Falcons defense showed they dont have enough last week. Betting Prediction: Cowboys 31, Falcons 21
