Green Bay Packers 14-3 (11-6 ATS) are playing San Francisco 49ers 14-3 (10-6-1 ATS) on Jan 19, 2020, 6:40pm ET at Levi's Stadium. The 49ers opened at -7 in Vegas and the current line is SF -7.5.

The NFC Championship game should be a good one as the Green Bay Packers travel to take on the San Francisco 49ers. This contest has a start time 6:40 pm ET and will take place at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The teams met back on November 24th and the Niners won that game at home by a score of 37-8. Both teams enter this game at 14-3 on the year.

Packers:
This is a Packers team that has gotten by a little under the radar for most of the year. But now they are in the biggest spot they have been in all year and their backs are against the wall. Green Bay has not been an underdog of more than a touchdown since October of 2018. The Packers are 3-17 in their last 20 road games in that situation. Winning ugly has been a mantra for them this season, and it continued last weekend. Seattle fell behind 21-3 in the early going, but roared back and made it a game down the stretch. Offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga missed Sunday’s game with the flu and is questionable this week. That will be huge for the Packers as the Niners will desperatley try to get to Rodgers again in this game. Speaking of, Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is once again the engine of the Green Bay offense, throwing for 4,002 yards and 26 touchdowns in the regular season. He only threw four interceptions all year which was key for this teams formula for success. This team does have momentum in this as the Packers have won six games in a row by an average of 8.67 points per game. We will see if they can keep Rodgers upright and the ball in hands with a chance to win the game.

49ers:
San Francisco put together a dominant season and a dominant performance in last week’s win against Minnesota, putting up a 27-10 victory. The 49ers went 13-3 in the regular season, finishing at the top of the NFC West and clinching the No. 1 seed in the conference. It is important to note that San Francisco is 10-2 in its last 12 games as a favorite. This team is lead by quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who has thrown for 3,978 yards and 27 touchdowns this season. Turnovers have been an issue at times, as he has thrown 13 interceptions. Still this team has shown that they show up for big games. They are 5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and thats exactly what they face in this one. It is also unusual for a team to get getting healthier this time of year but thats exactly what is happening for this defense. It will be key for them to get to the passer as they sacked Rodgers 5 times last time they met. This is a team that wants to win the battle in the trenches and will look to establish that early.

Pick:
I love getting the hook in +7.5 here. This should be a back and forth game between two good teams and two good defenses. Plus I think Aaron Rodgers down the stretch has shown why he is a legend and so tough in the playoffs. I dont know if the Packers will pull this off but I love getting more then a TD in points with the better QB.
