I don't normally ride with the Cowboys but if they are the underdogs I'll take them. It's when they are the favorite you need to worry. division game as well this will probably be tight and sit around 45.

    My Pick: Dallas -3 & Under 49.5 60%

(51% consensus). The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys expected to be battling for supremacy in the NFC East this season, but both clubs likely envisioned having better records heading into their Sunday night clash in Arlington, Texas. The Eagles fell to 3-3 following a 38-20 loss to Minnesota last week while the Cowboys own the same mark after dropping their third straight game with a 24-22 setback to the previously winless New York Jets... http://bit.ly/2B6VSsu

Fansided: 3 Reasons Philadelphia Eagles CBs have no excuse versus Dallas

Well, it happened. Something needed to happen to take everyone's focus off of how bad the Philadelphia Eagles' wide receivers were playing, and something did. Unfortunately, it wasn't the 'something' everyone hoped for.

Philly's secondary took all of the negative attention from the Eagles receivers as they turned in their worst performance of the season. That came in a Week 6 tail kicking at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings. The result was a lopsided game whose score doesn't give a real indication of how bad things went.

'The Birds' put up 20 points in that one but gave up 38, thanks in large part to a stinker by their cornerbacks.

Blogging The Boys: Five things to watch when the Cowboys host the Eagles on Sunday night

It's the game we've been waiting for. The two teams people were expecting to battle for NFC East supremacy are doing exactly that on Sunday Night. The winner restores hope in their season, the loser is in a world of trouble. Either the Dallas Cowboys or Philadelphia Eagles have taken down the East in five of the last six seasons, with the Cowboys the reigning division champs. But for them to retain their division title and become the first team in 15 years to repeat as NFC East champs, they're going to need to get this win on Sunday.

Blogging The Boys: Cowboys scouting report: Scouting the Philadelphia Eagles defense

Back when the Eagles went on their big Super Bowl run in 2017, they were powered by an incredibly stingy defense and two different quarterbacks that were performing well above their expectations. Now, the Eagles only have one of those quarterbacks and an average at best defense.

The defense still features a tough defensive line headlined by Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, and Derek Barnett, but beyond that line the Eagles have a lot of questions and not too many answers. They cut linebacker Zach Brown, who led the team's linebackers in tackles, after he publicly talked trash about Kirk Cousins only for the Vikings quarterback to torch Philly's defense for 333 yards and four touchdowns.

Blogging The Boys: Game predictions: Expert picks for Eagles at Cowboys

Experts share their picks for the Cowboys Week 7 game versus Philadelphia.

Doug Pederson says the Eagles are going to win, but he won't guarantee it. He shouldn't. Jason Garrett has a history of digging deep when his back is against the wall, and once again it is.

The Cowboys' offense has improved from its 10-point output in Week 4 despite serious injuries, while the Cowboys' defense has fallen all the way to 25th in DVOA despite relative health. Yet, it's the offense that has taken most of the blame for the team's struggles.

              • Fansided: Dallas Cowboys will beat Philadelphia Eagles if this happens ...

The Dallas Cowboys haven't played their best football on either side of the ball over the past three games, we know it, and they know it.

Now with the Philadelphia Eagles coming to town and this game giving the winner the lead in the division, the Cowboys have a sense of urgency about them. But, if they want to win this game they need to have these things happen first.

First, the offensive resurrection of the Cowboys play-action passing game.

When the Dallas Cowboys were lighting up defenses over the first three games their best weapon was their play-action passing game.

Blogging The Boys: Cowboys vs. Eagles: "The Eagles offense is incredibly slow and plodding"

Blogging The Boys: How do you feel about the 3-3 record? Is it a fair representation of who the Eagles are as a team, or should it be better or worse based on how they have played?

Bleeding Green Nation: I think 3-3 is about right.

Blogging The Boys: An Eagles player is criticizing Carson Wentz ahead of Sunday's matchup against Cowboys

This Sunday is the biggest game of the season for the Dallas Cowboys. A lot of that has to do with the fact that on Sunday night, in front of the whole world, the Cowboys will host the Philadelphia Eagles.

Both Dallas and Philadelphia are coming off of a loss and staring at 3-3 records six weeks into the season. Whoever loses this game is going to have some serious questions to answer within their locker room, but the one in Philadelphia might already have some. According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, there is an anonymous player on the Eagles that is openly questioning the team's offense and specifically their quarterback, Carson Wentz.

Blogging The Boys: Cowboys vs. Eagles injury report: Amari Cooper, Tyron Smith lead a long list of Cowboys injuries

We petty much knew the list of players who would not participate in Wednesday's practice for the Dallas Cowboys. Coach Jason Garrett revealed that earlier today in his press conference. But now we have official confirmation.

The offensive side of the ball is really hit hard by injury as wide receivers Amari Cooper and Randall Cobb were sidelined. Cooper is dealing with multiple injuries - a contusion on his thigh and a problematic ankle. Cobb is dealing with the dreaded back issue which is always a tough one to put a timeline on.

Blogging The Boys: Cowboys hot topic: This week's Eagles game has become crucial

The Dallas Cowboys are reeling after three straight losses, dropping them to 3-3. Now they face what has become a crucial game Sunday night against division rival the Philadelphia Eagles, who also have had recent struggles and sit at 3-3. Both the New York Giants and Washington trail the co-leaders in the NFC East. Neither has looked overly impressive, so this game is for control of the division. Even with the very tough schedule after the bye coming up after this game, that is now the best route for Dallas to salvage this mess and at least claw their way into the playoffs.

Fansided: Philadelphia Eagles: Cowboys players respond to Doug Pederson's comments

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson wasn't messing around this week after the team took an ugly loss on the road against the Minnesota Vikings. Knowing his team didn't live up to expectations, the veteran head coach was already moving on and looking towards next week's matchup against the Eagles' NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.

Thankfully, Dallas lost last week to the New York Jets, which caused them to fall to 3-3, leaving the Eagles tied for first in the division. This week, both teams will meet though for sole possession of first place within the NFC East.
