    • The 49ers will have their way on both sides of the ball against the Redskins so I would lean laying the points but I think the value bet here is with the UNDER 39.5. This total is low for a reason and I predict we see San Francisco's defense clamping down on Washington's struggling offense and limit them to 10-14 points max. I think this game is lop sided and I predict San Francisco to wins a 27-10 type of game.

      • Washington is 30th in DVOA, 28th in Passing Offense and 30th in Rushing Offense. The Niners have handled business against the Browns and Rams the last two weeks allowing only 10 total points against teams that are explosive at any point in the game. The pass rush should dominate this weak Oline - look for prop bets on Bosa. Keenum will be forced and rush into an INT or atleast lose a fumble that will result in points.

        My Pick: San Francisco

        • This line is going to move up to about -12 where I don't know that I want it. If you follow the Skins, you know home games are now essentially away games so there is virtually no edge- SF Fans are sprawled across the Nations Capital and they'll show out for their undefeated Niners. Really like the Under here as when a Home Team is a Double Digit Dog, the Under is 27-4.

My Pick: San Francisco & Under 42

The 1-5 Washington Redskins, fresh off their first victory of the 2019 NFL regular season, play hosts to the NFC's last undefeated team -- the San Francisco 49ers -- in Week 7 at FedExField in Landover, MD.

Last Sunday, the Redskins narrowly escaped with a 17-16 victory over the winless Miami Dolphins in a game that put Miami in the driver's seat for the top overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, the 5-0 49ers staked their claim as the top team in the NFC West by easily defeating the Los Angeles Rams at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The San Francisco 49ers will look to keep their 2019 undefeated record intact in Week 7, as they prepare for a road bout with the 1-5 Washington Redskins this upcoming Sunday.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan will look to get some revenge on his former employer during the game, something he failed to do back when the Niners visited Washington during Shanahan's first year as San Francisco's head coach.

On paper, this contest looks like a pushover from the 49ers' vantage point. They retain a top-five offense and defense heading into the game, while the Redskins are still dealing with the aftermath of firing head coach Jay Gruden and are at the bottom in standings, both offensively and defensively.

Hogs Haven: Redskins vs 49ers Week 7: Five Questions with Niners Nation

It's week 7 of the regular season, and the 1-5 Washington Redskins will be facing off against the 5-0 San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

The 49ers look like one of the most complete teams in the NFL right now, ranking 3rd in points scored and 2nd in points allowed. The strength of their defense really starts up front, with a brick wall of a defensive line and ferocious pass rushers in Nick Bosa, Arik Armstead, Dee Ford, and Solomon Thomas. Their offense is built on the Shanahan zone run scheme, using largely outside zone runs and short passes off of play action.

San Jose Mercury News: 49ers at Washington: 5 keys to staying undefeated

SANTA CLARA - For the fourth time in six games, the 49ers are on the road. It seemed like a brutal opening act when the schedule was unveiled in April, especially knowing their recent road history.

"I know we didn't win a single road game last year, preseason or regular season, so those plane rides were not very fun," tight end George Kittle recalled.

                    New year, new results.

As the undefeated 49ers (5-0) go to visit Washington (1-5), they are not spooked by an away game. Of course it helped last Sunday to feel at home with some 40,000 of their own fans packing the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for a 20-7 win over the Rams.

The San Francisco 49ers (5-0), the only undefeated team left in the NFC, will try to maintain that distinction when they line up against the Washington Redskins (1-5) on Sunday. The Redskins are coming off their first win of the season and hope to catch San Francisco off guard.

49ers vs. Redskins: The Betting Odds and Lines

It is amazing to see a road team, especially one traveling from the opposite coast come in as a nearly double-digit favorite but this the case with this matchup. The 49ers are holding steady as a 10 point favorite over the hometown Redskins, courtesy of The Action Network.

Niners Nation: Five 49ers to watch against Washington

The undefeated San Francisco 49ers have earned the right to be confronted with a trap game - a concept typically reserved for good teams overlooking bad teams. The 49ers are a good team now, and to the untrained eye, a 1-5 Washington matchup would seem like a recipe for an unpleasant surprise. Fortunately for the 49ers, there are a few factors at play that suggest it could get ugly in the nation's capital.

Here are five players (or coaches) to watch in the 49ers' Week 7 matchup:

                    Kyle Shanahan

                    The 5-0 49ers are favored by 9.

Niners Nation: The 49ers are 9.5 point favorites over Washington

The 49ers are 3-0 on the road this season. In their previous 34 games on the road, they were 5-29. This 49ers team isn't those teams. San Francisco travels to Washington, where the home team generally is a three-point favorite before you take anything into account. Not this week. The Niners are 9.5 point favorites over the fighting Bill Callahan's. The total on the game is 41.5, so Vegas is expecting around a 24-14 score. That's relatively low.

Washington doesn't have many playmakers on offense. Rookie Terry McLaurin has been very productive, and one of the better rookie wide receivers this season.

Hogs Haven: How Worried Should the San Francisco 49ers Be about the Washington Redskins?

                    2018 Record: 4-12 (3rd, NFC West)

                    2019 Record: 5-0 (1st, NFC West)

Outlook: The 2018 49ers' fortunes took a nosedive when quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo went down for the year in Week 3. Without their newly-minted star quarterback, the 49ers won just three times in their final 14 games.

This season has been a much different story.

With a healthy (and wealthy) Garoppolo and an exceptional defense led by DeForest Buckner, Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, Kwon Alexander, and veteran Richard Sherman, the 49ers are the most improved team in the NFL.

Fansided: Redskins vs. 49ers preview: Matchups to watch, score prediction

A good amount of analysts expected the Washington Redskins to, at the very least, put up a fight with the amount of talent they possessed on defense. 6-10 or 7-9 was a reasonable conclusion to make. Now, six games in, the Redskins have been closer to rock bottom than mediocrity, with their only win being a pathetic near-loss against Miami.

The 49ers, meanwhile, were preseason afterthoughts in an NFC West headlined by the defending Super Runner-Up Los Angeles Rams, and the Seattle Seahawks, who've broken into the playoffs six of the last seven seasons with Russell Wilson.
