Besides the fact that Pittsburgh's quarterback -- Mason Rudolph -- isn't all that impressive and their two best offensive weapons (JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner) are nursing injuries, this matchup lines up well for Baltimore. The Ravens offense is the best in the NFL, averaging 497 yards per game, and their quarterback, Lamar Jackson, is a pain to prepare for. Pittsburgh's defense usually puts out a solid product but they've struggled against the run this year, ranking 22nd currently. This line has moved 7 points since it oped at Baltimore +4 and I think the public betting action is dead on here today.50%

I believe the Steelers defense is better then the Ravens D this year. They came into their own last week against Cincy and if they were going to have any momentum, it's here on this spot at home against their rival. Everyone is hot on Lamar Jackson and this run game but that offense is pretty one dimensional. Ravens have a 56.7% run rate with an average of 39.9 carries per game- that is a TON. 21 of the 32 meetings have been decided by one possession with 16 by 3 points or fewer between these two. Love Steelers here.70%

Smith-Schuster (toe), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, is considered a true game-time decision, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Despite putting in a full practice Friday, Smith-Schuster apparently wasn't able to assuage the Steelers' concern about his injury. The team will wait and see how he responds to a pregame workout before making a call on his status when the inactive list is released 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. EDT kickoff

The Ravens and Steelers have played 25 times since John Harbaugh has been the coach, and 18 of those games have been decided by one score, and 13 by 3 points or less.— Garrett Downing (@gdowning14) October 5, 2019
