Betting Pick: and UNDER
While I'm not going to suggest that the Eagles have any chance of beating Clemson outright, there is reason to believe the Eagles can cover the 19 point spread. Slight lean to BC to cover.

BC Interruption: Game Summary: Clemson 27 Boston College 7
With ESPN's College GameDay setting up shop in the Dust Bowl, and a primetime national spotlight aimed at their showdown with the #2 ranked Clemson Tigers, Boston College was brimming with excitement. Turns out Desmond Howard was a false prophet, and Clemson is in another class altogether.
Already facing a tall task against the imposing Tigers defense, BC starting QB Anthony Brown suffered a game ending injury in the first quarter, after he was thrown to the turf by defensive lineman Christian Wilkins. The offense looked very out of sorts with backup EJ Perry at the helm, managing a measly 23 yards of offense in the first half, and 113 for the game.

The No. 2-ranked team in the nation, Clemson, is absolutely dismantling every team it plays and next up is the No. 17 Boston College Eagles. The Tigers last lost to BC in 2010 and are on a seven-game win streak in this matchup. Notably, though, Clemson is just 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings between these teams. The Tigers are an 18-point favorite leading up to Saturday's game. Original matchup: http://bit.ly/2F2DEvG
Shakin The Southland: #2 Clemson Travels North to Battle #17 Boston College
The dust is really beginning to settle around college football as it usually does in November. Among that dust are the charred remains of the Louisville Cardinals who were obliterated in Death Valley. I felt a little ambitious calling for a 70-14 win, but the team rolled up 77! Now Clemson faces its final true road game up in Boston against a team many pointed to as maybe their biggest threat in the Atlantic back in preseason.
The Eagles rebounded from taking a beating at the hands of Purdue and NC State to rise to #17 in the latest rankings.
Shakin The Southland: Boston College Vs. Clemson Football: Offensive Preview
Boston College has shaken the reputation they had earlier this decade for moribund offense. Two years after the spring game ended without a touchdown the Eagles have improved to above average, taking advantage of excellent field position, rarely turning the ball over and staying in third and manageable situations. A combination of improved talent at running back, emphasis on tight end play, experienced linemen and receivers as well as a healthy Anthony Brown have coalesced into a difficult team to play against.
The Eagles base out of 12 personnel but move their tight ends between split wide, in line and in the backfield.
The Clemson Insider: By the Stars: Clemson at Boston College
Clemson demolished Louisville in an unbelievable fashion last week, putting up 77 defense against a defense that would've struggled with a high school team. The Tigers are peaking on both sides of the ball at the right time, and they should continue to rumble this week against Boston College. Let's see how they measure up against the Eagles.

The Clemson Insider: ESPN's Galloway on the key for Boston College against Clemson
On ESPN's College Football Countdown show Thursday night, analyst Joey Galloway weighed in on second-ranked Clemson's upcoming game against No. 17 Boston College this Saturday.
"This is a BC offense that has to run the football," Galloway said. "They have to get A.J. Dillon going. This is a bigger running back. He missed a couple games this season because of injury, but he's been back the last two games. He's been physical and he's second in the ACC in rushing. They've got to get him going.
"They've got to hold the ball. That's the key, time of possession.

Fansided: Clemson Football: Scouting Report vs. Boston College Eagles
The biggest game of the year for Clemson football will take place this Saturday.
The Tigers will look to clinch the ACC Atlantic Division with a win and continue their trek to the College Football Playoff.
A loss, on the other hand, would be detrimental.
It would basically take the Tigers out of the playoff conversation and, most likely, out of the ACC Championship game.
Here is our scouting report for Boston College heading into the matchup that will be featured on ESPN College GameDay.
Fansided: Clemson Football: 3 Areas the Tigers will have an advantage over Boston College
The Clemson football program will be featured on ESPN College GameDay Saturday evening when the Tigers play a nationally televised game against the Boston College Eagles.
With a win, the Tigers will clinch the ACC Atlantic. A loss, however, would put the Tigers in the backseat of the division race.
Here's a look at the highlights from the Tigers' win over Louisville.
Here are three areas that Clemson football will have an advantage over Boston College Saturday night.
BC Interruption: Boston College Announces GameDay Location, Parking Exception, Tailgating Times For Saturday vs. Clemson
Boston College released a few pieces of information this afternoon for this Saturday's game against Clemson.
First up was the announcement of where ESPN College GameDay will be set up, which was revealed to be the Stokes Lawn. That's basically the Dustbowl, for you BC Alumni who haven't been to campus in a little while. There was some question as to whether GameDay would set up in the same location as it had in the past given the smaller size of the Dustbowl's green space with the new Stokes Hall taking up some real estate, but there's definitely still plenty of room (and it's also the most beautiful place on campus).
The State: How Clemson is preparing for Boston College with Eagles star AJ Dillon banged up
Boston College could be without its star running back and the ACC Preseason Player of the Year when the Eagles host Clemson on Saturday with the ACC Atlantic Division on the line.
BC running back AJ Dillon has already missed two games this season with an ankle injury and tweaked his ankle this past week in Boston College's 31-21 win against Virginia Tech.
Eagles coach Steve Addazio updated the status of Dillon during his press conference on Monday.
"I saw him yesterday and he was bouncing around, a good smile on his face," Addazio said.
