****UTAH -4.5**** (4 UNIT PLAY) - This Oregon was already decimated with injuries and will be without 2 starting offensive lineman in this game. Jake Hanson (Targeting Suspension) is OUT 1st half and Dallas Warmack (Undisclosed) is out. This isn't the same Oregon team we saw in September and are playing a healthy Utah team at home.

Oregon had a couple of tough losses against Washington State and Arizona but seem to have bounced back. This team has had a rough time on the road this season. They do have a good quarterback in Justin Herbert but I think he's going to have a long day against the Running Utes defense. Utah lost Huntley, which is a huge loss, but they have Zack Moss and a tough defense to make up for it. If Jason Shelley is about to limit his turnovers I'm betting Utah covers this at home. Take Utah to cover.

***Prediction: UTAH -4*** Trying to handicap the Pac 10 this season has been a challenge. Oregon got blown out by Arizona of all teams and then comes back last weekend and blows out UCLA. Utah looked like the best team in the PAC 10 conference and then slipped up and lost to Arizona State last weekend. I think Utah losing Tyler Huntley was a huge blow for the Running Utes, however, the Utes still have an outstanding RB in Zack Moss and a defense that ranks 17th in Defense. Justin Herbert is a great QB for Oregon and they have a handful of playmakers, but I think Oregon will struggle against this Utah defense and as long as Jason Shelley can limit turnovers, Utah should do enough to get the win at home today.

KSL: Shelley, Shyne helps Utah football hold on for win over Oregon
SALT LAKE CITY -- Consider Jason Shelley's first test passed.
The new Utah quarterback completed 18-of-31 passes for 262 yards, and ran for another two scores as Utah opened up the game with a 10-point lead on a made field goal and then touchdown on an Oregon turnover, before holding on for a 32-25 win in a solid performance without two of its key starters.
Utah needed some late-game heroics when Oregon took its first lead of the game in the fourth quarter after a Mitch Wishnowsky blocked punt that set up a 3-yard passing touchdown to Travis Dye.
ESPN.com: Shelley, Shyne help Utah beat Oregon 32-25
SALT LAKE CITY -- Jason Shelley may be a freshman and undersized for a major college quarterback, but he doesn't lack confidence.
"We know what we can do. We know we can play. We're here for a reason," Shelley said. "We couldn't wait to prove it."
In his first start, Shelley ran for two touchdowns and Armand Shyne had 174 yards rushing to power Utah past Oregon 32-25 on Saturday.
The Utes (7-3, 5-3 Pac-12) lost Tyler Huntley, their starting quarterback, and running back Zack Moss, who had already rushed for 1,092 yards this season, to injury within a few days of each other.
The Oregonian: Oregon suffers multiple injuries in loss at Utah
SALT LAKE CITY -- An already depleted Oregon team suffered more injuries in its loss at Utah.
Running backs CJ Verdell and Cyrus Habibi-Likio, linebackers Sampson Niu and Adrian Jackson and offensive tackle Steven Jones were among the litany of Ducks to go down during the 32-25 loss at Ross-Eccles Stadium on Saturday.
"Cyrus had a leg contusion that was pretty extensive," Oregon coach Mario Cristobal said. "Sampson was one. Steven Jones was another one. CJ Verdell was another one. (Justin) Hollins ended up being OK. Adrian Jackson was another one. Then (Drayton) Carlberg, but Carlberg was able to come back.
Block U: Jason Shelley and Armand Shyne lead Utah past Oregon 32-25
Welcome to big time college football Jason Shelley. Talk about making a statement with your first start ever. Shelley and Armand Shyne had major shoes to fill and they did just that in a 32-25 win over Oregon on Saturday night, keeping their Pac-12 South hopes alive. Now the Ducks need to do the Utes a favor next week against Arizona State. Shelley threw for 262 yards on 18 of 31 passing, he also pitched in 22 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Armand Shyne ran for 174 yards on 26 carries, and a long of 42. Shyne was clutch with some huge runs late in the 4th quarter to bleed the clock away.
The Oregonian: Ducks dismal on the road: Describe Oregon's loss to Utah in 5 words or less
The Oregon Ducks road woes continued on Saturday with a 32-25 loss to Utah at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
The Ducks are now 2-11 in Pac-12 football road games since 2016. In four conference road games this season they're 1-3 and have been outscored 110-60 in their last three road games.
On Saturday it was Utah redshirt freshman quarterback Jason Shelley doing the damage. In his first career start he was 18 of 31 for 262 yards and two rushing touchdowns. He staked the Utes to a 19-7 halftime lead, then rallied them from a 25-22 deficit in the fourth quarter.
Block U: Oregon at Utah Open Thread
It's a perfect day up at Rice-Eccles, as the Utes try to find a way to overcome some serious adversity. No Tyler Huntley and no Zack Moss against the Ducks, and the rest of the season. Enter Jason Shelley, Armand Shyne and TJ Green as the main names that will take over and run this Utah offense. Of course, it all comes down to whether the offensive line can gel and give these guys time to make plays. Also, Britain Covey needs to step to the forefront, he is a game changer.
For the defense, stop the run, it's that simple.

The Oregonian: Oregon linebacker Kaulana Apelu not listed on depth chart vs. Utah
EUGENE -- Oregon's linebacker corps has suffered another blow.
Kaulana Apelu, who did not play in the second half of last week's 42-21 win over UCLA due to an undisclosed injury, is not listed on this week's depth chart for the Ducks against Utah.
Oregon coach Mario Cristobal will hold his weekly press conference this morning and will provide a further update on Apelu, a senior, who was limited during practice in the week leading up to the game at Arizona, but participated in practice last week.
Apelu is second on the team with 58 tackles with five for loss including two sacks and has four pass breakups.
