  • Texas Tech vs. TCU predicted score: Texas Tech 27- TCU 45. Frogs will get their offense going tonight against this weak (albeit improved) Tech defense. TCU looks good for 3 quarters against #2 Ohio State and in the Texas loss, I just don't think TCU played their best game. You will hear the Frog horn early and often. TCU - 7 and OVER 58.5.

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs TCU Horned Frogs on 2018-10-11 added by Covers

Consensus betting prediction from the Covers.com community:
    Texas Tech Red Raiders
(60% consensus). At this point, TCU is not giving its fans much reason for optimism. The scuffling Horned Frogs continue a three-game homestand Thursday when high-powered Texas Tech visits in a Big 12 showdown... http://bit.ly/2pgIaP3

  • TCU has played good defense so far but against explosive offenses like Texas and Ohio State, they gave up 31 and 40 points, respectively, and lost both games. Texas Tech is the 8th most productive offense in the nation at 48.4 points per game and they scored 41 against West Virginia and 63 against Houston. Tech has the offense to go toe to toe with TCU tonight, but the question mark for bettor's are the starting QB's for both teams. Gary Patterson said that TCU"s starting QB Shawn Robinson will play tonight and all indications are that Tech will have all 3 QB's available. But it will be curious to see if Allan Bowman (the freshman QB for Tech that lit up Houston and Ok State) will play in this game...he was in the hospital for 2 days with a collapsed lung, so I can't imagine he will start tonight. Regardless of who Tech has under center, their offensive system enables a plug and play mentality and they will still put up points. I will take a shot with Tech and the Overs here tonight.

I'm family friends of the running back of TCU (Darius Anderson) who played his high school ball in Houston.
I think this will be a great game tonight and I will be rooting for TCU so I can't bet against the Horned Frogs. This total is pretty low at 61 for two teams that play hurry up offense, I like the OVER 61. TCU wins 40-31.

    My Pick: Over 61

Welcome buddy! Texas Tech's defense looks to be improved this year, but I agree that TCU is the better team here tonight and Tech most likely will be playing a 3rd team QB. I'm laying the points with the Frogs. 50%

I wouldn't say this TCU team is "Far Superior", Frogs looked descent in their close loss to Ohio State, but other than that they haven't showed me much

Texas Tech vs. TCU ATS Prediction?? Picking a winner here will be a game time decision as I need to see which QB is starting for both teams. TCU's Robinson hurt his non throwing arm against Iowa State and is listed as "probable". Tech's quarterback situation is even more up in the air than TCU's. The Red Raiders have three legitimate starters to choose from, but only one that enters the week 100 percent with regards to his health and that would be Jett Duffey, the dual-threat QB that led a spirited comeback effort against West Virginia last week. True freshman Alan Bowman suffered a collapsed lung against West Virginia and Junior QB McLane Carter was Tech's presumptive starter this season before suffering an ankle sprain that has sidelined him since Week 1 and he is still day to day. Kingsbury has said that all three could be available vs. TCU. That's a nightmare to prepare for. And there's a real possibility that all three could see the field, too. A lot of unknowns here for both teams on offense. Defensively this Tech team has the best defense I've seen in over 5 years and TCU's defense is also solid. Both teams should be able to move the ball and score so picking a winner ATS here will come down to the team with the fewest turnovers. ...in a close game you have to take the points. I may wait and see who is starting for Tech, but right now I like the points. PICK: TEXAS TECH +7
