Trending Pick

Miami (OH) has yet to even come close to beating an FBS team this year and has a -45 point differential in such games. That is mostly due to the brutal play of this RedHawk offensive unit. They’re coming off a Week 3 performance in which they failed to reach 185 total yards and have yet to throw for 200+ yards in a single game. The Wildcats have performed much better on offense, as evidenced by their total yards per game (473.0) which is 39th in the country. Running back Evan Hull has carried the load with 308 yards on the ground and 301 yards of receiving, turning those opportunities into 4 total touchdowns.

This RedHawk defense definitely hasn’t done the other side of the ball any favors as they’re allowing 29.7 points per game on nearly 275 yards passing. Northwestern lost to an FCS school last weekend, but that school would almost certainly beat this Miami team as well. Neither of these squads is playing good football but the Wildcats are by far the more talented team. Only -7 here is pretty big discount for Northwestern bettors because of last week’s upset, but I expect the Wildcats to come out firing and bounce back with a double digit win.
