TCU Horned Frogs vs Oklahoma St. Cowboys
Recap for November 2nd, 2019, 2:30PM ETTCU Horned Frogs 4-3 (3-4 ATS) are playing Oklahoma St. Cowboys 5-3 (6-2 ATS) on Nov 2, 2019, 3:30pm ET at Boone Pickens Stadium.
The Cowboys opened at -5 in Vegas and the current line is OKLAST -2.5. Can the Horned Frogs keep the momentum rolling against Oklahoma State? Vegas doesn't seem to think so as this line opened at TCU +5 and has settled around TCU +2.5.
TCU is trying to build off a massive 37-27 win over Texas last week. Last week the Frogs passing attack cam to life when Max Duggan was dropping dimes and Texas struggled to keep up with the TCU speed receivers. The Horned Frogs now have their sites on bowl eligibility and just need to win two of their last five games to hit six wins. This Saturday against Oklahoma State is a great litmus test for TCU. Did the Frogs really turn a corner against Texas or is Texas just that bad this year.
Speaking of Texas, Ok State looked sharp offensively against Texas offensively and came up short and have a dynamic QB in Spencer Sanders. The Cowboys have upset two ranked teams in Kansas State and Iowa State, but have also been soundly beaten by Baylor and beaten up on by Texas Tech.
Freshman quarterback Max Duggan was hitting passes downfield and running through defenders and had pinpoint accuracy on 3 deep balls that resulted in TD's. TCU wideouts were finding separation from defenders. The Frogs were up tempo and dangerous. But that’s the first time we’ve seen TCU commit to taking chances all season. It remains to be seen if head coach Gary Patterson and offensive coordinator Sonny Cumbie decide to turn Duggan loose again. TCU played arguably its best defensive half of the season against Texas last week. The Horned Frogs picked off Sam Ehlinger three times in the last two quarters. Sanders has shown that he can be error-prone as well. He’s thrown two or more picks three times this season. If TCU can take advantage of those missteps, they’ll be able to shut down the Oklahoma State offense.
BETTING PREVIEW & PICKS: I was surprised to see TCU catching 5 points here when this line open and not surprised it was quickly bet down to TCU +2.5. TCU has looked like a different team the last 2 weeks, and played Kansas State to a close game and we just saw what KSU did to OU last week. Max Duggan impressed last week and he should have plenty of opportunity to shine again this week against a leaky Ok State defense. The sharps jumped on TCU early and I will follow suit. I think Vegas has got the wrong team favored, give me the free 2.5 points in a game they can easily win outright. ***TCU +2.5***
OVER/UNDER - ***OVER 59*** This game has the potential to be a high scoring shootout - Oklahoma State offers chances for offenses to succeed in both the run and the pass. The Cowboys are average against the run but in the bottom fifth in the country in pass defense. TCU running backs Darius Anderson and Sewo Olonilua can find lanes against this defense. And if the Frogs do decide to air it out, they’ll find little opposition.
Score Prediction: TCU 37, Oklahoma State 31

Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica’s picks from Daily Wager:
Colorado + 6.5 vs UCLA
***TCU + 2.5*** vs Oklahoma State
Tulane -10.5 vs Tulsa

Ok State QB Spencer Sanders looked like the next coming of Patrick Mahomes after their first 3 games, but turnovers and a leaky defense has been the achilles heal for the Sanders and the Cowboys this season. TCU is a fickle team but their freshman QB has looked more than serviceable in the last 2 weeks. This sets up for a close back and forth game, but if OK State can avoid the turnovers I think they have a little more talent on offense and playing at home gives them the edge. OK State (Slight Lean).

OK STATE COWBOYS' TYLAN WALLACE - Done for the year OUT and out against TCU with torn ACL. Wallace suffered a knee injury during Wednesday's practice and underwent some testing Thursday to try and figure out the potential extent of the damage to his knee.

Line hasn't move yet, but I just hammered the Frogs +2.5. They looked good against a mean KSU team (losing by 7) and beat up on Texas last weekend. Ok State hasn't impressed at all this season and they have a sieve of a defense.
2 Y 9 MO
big loss for OK State - Lock up your Frog's action, I bet this one moves to PK before kick

Oklahoma State's WR Tylan Wallace - QUESTIONABLE against TCU Saturday - Suffers knee injury October 31, 2019. Wallace suffered a knee injury in practice Wednesday, Scott Wright of the Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
Wallace underwent further testing Thursday on his knee but the MRI revealed no conclusive evidence of the extent of his injury. As a result, the Cowboys will likely have to wait and see whether their standout wide receiver will have to miss Saturday's game against TCU. It's reported that Wallace will be further re-evaluated Friday, so expect a report regarding the severity of Wallace's knee injury to surface relatively soon.
