  • You gotta love the value on STL. I imagine money is coming in on the Nats because it's Strasburg and that's understandable. But the Cards are 5-0 in Hudson's last 5 outings, the Nats are 1-5 in their last 6 against the Cards and just 3-7 in their last 10 against winning teams. The bats have been off and this bullpen is terrible in DC. I love the value on the Cards in this one.

      Strasburg needs to put the team on his back to get a win here as his team is sliding. The Cards are making a push and look to keep the pressure on the Cubs and the Brewers. Hudson is great at getting ground balls and I think he matches up well against the Nats line up right now. Gimme the Cards here at plus odds

          St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Ozuna's big night carries Cardinals to 4-2 win over Nationals

          Marcell Ozuna drove in four runs with a home run and double and threw a Washington runner out at the plate Monday night as the Cardinals defeated the Nationals 4-2 at Busch Stadium.

          Ozuna hit a two-run homer in the first inning and a two-run double in the seventh to break a tie and make a winner of Dakota Hudson (16-7), who worked seven innings, allowing five hits.

          The left fielder also robbed the Nationals of a run when he made a perfect throw to catcher Yadier Molina to get Asdrubal Cabrera trying to score from second on a single.
