I likeTanaka to hold it down tonight in the Bronx. He went 8 strong and through a lot more sliders in his last outing without giving up a run. I'm a bit worried about Civale on this one so I'm not risking a lot on this bet. He's looked good in 3 starts this season with 6 pitches he can throw for strikes. But he's not a top prospect and it's a never easy on the nerves getting your first start in the bronx against one of the best lineups in the game. I would play the UNDER 10.5 if you are considering it. Both pens are rested, but also both lineups can put up 8 runs in 1 inning at any given time.

My Pick: New York -143 80%

Civale is a decent prospect that had good numbers in the minors before getting called up. He has a strike out rate of 27% which will help him against the swing happy yank's tonight. The issue is NY is pretty healthy and their current lineup only strikes out at a 20% rate and has a team xwOBA of .347 so I think it may be time to fade this guy. Tanaka has been giving us SOOOOO much hard contact and subseguently, a lot of home runs. These teams are both dialed in at at the plate and Ilike this to go over

    My Pick: Over 10.5

  • I like the over in this one. I think both these offenses have a field day off these pitchers. YAnkees bullpen got a lot of work last night and the Indians are using a fill in spot starter. This game soars over double digits

    My Pick: Over 10.5 70%

Yeah, their backup 1B pitching 2+ innings is going to leave the bullpen depleted...They didn't use any of their Grade A or even B arms out of the pen. I like the UNDER. NYY -143 80%

Empire Sports Media: New York Yankees Bounce Back With A 3-2 Win Over The Indians

    MLB

After a poor effort in a 19-5 loss to the Indians on Thursday, the New York Yankees bounced back with a 3-2 win in a pitching duel led by Masahiro Tanaka on Friday.

Tanaka went 6 and 1/3, giving up just two runs off of four hits. He struck out two, and both runs came via the solo home run.

The Yankees got two in the first inning off of RBI singles by Gary Sanchez and Gleyber Torres. They got another run when Gio Urshela knocked a single to right in the fifth.

Tommy Kahnle faced two batters in relief of Tanaka in the seventh, and punched out both.

NY Post: Yankees vs. Indians: The good Masahiro Tanaka will show up

    MLB

We must be in heaven, man! Well almost. The Woodstock 50 concert was canceled, but '69ers Carlos Santana, Arlo Guthrie and John Fogerty are expected to perform in Bethel this weekend. If you're heading upstate for three days, or hours, of peace, love and music -- remember these three simple rules. Don't eat the brown acid, stand back from those towers and don't call Chris Cuomo "Fredo."

Fun's over. Slight upgrade in talent for the Yankees after sweeping away the lowly O's. Indians invade The Bronx and Aaron Civale throws for the Tribe. Rookie came up big last week, allowing the Twins to score once over six innings.

Let's Go Tribe: The Indians had a historic night against the Yankees

    MLB

    Happy Friday, everyone!

    Indians 19, Yankees 5

The runs are cool and all, but is no one going to talk about the error?!?!?!

    Tribe news

If you watched Thursday's game, you saw a plethora of home runs and a feat that the Indians haven't done in over a century. Here are some other nifty tidbits about the game.

Roberto Perez and Shane Bieber seem to be chasing down some milestones here in the home stretch.

Yu Darvish pitched well, but Bryce Harper showed up and hit a walk-off grand slam to complete the sweep.
