I really believe that Ryan Carpenter is the worst starting pitcher in all of baseball. Now normally a comment like this is geared because he burned me in a bet or a DFS team, but that's not the case. In fact he's made me a lot of money because I stacked the twins against him and they put up 10 runs before he got pulled in the fourth. This guy just isn't good and I don't need to give you numbers to tell you he's shit. Plesac isn't any ace in his own means and this tiger team got it rolling over the weekend. So if I had to go somewhere with this I'd take the over because I woudln't be shocked if the Indians put up over 10 themselves but between both guys, I like that number

    My Pick: Over 10.5

Locking up the Indians while they are at plus odds. The Tigers haven't amounted to much this season and things havent been much better of late. Detroit is just 7-27 since June 1, 3-13 in their last 16 vs. American League Central, and are 12-40 in their last 52 overall. There really isnt a lot of watch during a Tigers game. Cleveland on the other hand has gotten on a roll of late with seven wins in their last nine contests even with the back to back losses to Minnesota. The Indians are 5-1 in their last 6 Tuesday games and are 12-3 in their last 15 vs. American League Central. Cleveland gets the upper hand here to pick up the victory.

    My Pick: Cleveland +104

I think it's really funny when they post the lines before they actually come out. No where you could have got Clev plus odds

hahaha, yeah, I wish any book anywhere would have came out with those odds. Maybe you can get +104 if you take an alt line like -5.5 Over 10.5

Let's Go Tribe: Indians blank the Tigers, 8-0

    MLB

A two-hour rain delay all but delayed the inevitable as the Cleveland Indians notched their ninth consecutive win over the Detroit Tigers by a score of 8-0.

Pretty much of all the damage was done in the first three innings of the game, prior to the rain delay and with Detroit starter Ryan Carpenter on the mound. Jake Bauers got it started in the second inning with a two-out opposite field single to score Jason Kipnis from third. Tyler Naquin followed with a single to put runners at the corners. Francisco Lindor proceeded to flail at a ball well outside the zone, which sliced down the first base line and caromed off the glove of Tigers first baseman Brandon Dixon.

NEO Sports Insiders: Plesac Back as Indians Look to Continue 2019 Dominance Over the Tigers; Indians Starting Nine

    MLB

CLEVELAND - The Indians dominance over the Tigers continued over the Tigers Monday night, topping Detroit 8-6 at Progressive Field.

The Tribe has topped the Tigers in nine of 10 meetings this season, with the latest being helped out by a pair of homers by rookie Oscar Mercado, who broke out of his 1-for-25 slump.

"I've got to thank my teammates for that one," Mercado said.

"They know what it's like. I've had a lot of conversations with them. They told me that's how it's going to go sometimes."

Tuesday will see a couple call ups get starts for each team, as Zach Plesac (3-3, 4.

NEO Sports Insiders: Pitching Matchups for the Four-Game Set Between the Indians and Tigers

    MLB

CLEVELAND - The Indians will wrap up their big three-game set against the Twins today at Progressive Field, and right away will be back on the diamond Monday night in the first of four games against the Detroit Tigers.

The Indians have dominated the Tigers in 2018, sweeping them in three games at Progressive Field June 21-23, and back in Detroit Father's Day weekend they also got a three-game sweep, outscoring Detroit 25-6 back on June 14=16.

With a four-game set the Indians have to be licking their chops as the 28-59 Tigers come to town Monday through Thursday.

The Detroit News: Tigers offense dries up after rain delay in loss to Indians

    MLB

    (Photo: David Dermer, Associated Press)

Cleveland -- The Tigers continue to score runs -- a little-used sentence this season.

They have produced five or more runs in eight of their last 10 games. They followed their season-high, 12-run output Sunday in Kansas City by hitting four home runs Monday against the Indians.

Two of those home runs were struck by Jordy Mercer, who had but one entering the game.

Not that that power surge was sufficient, mind you. The Indians came out of a 54-minute rain delay and scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning -- all off reliever Victor Alcantara -- and beat the Tigers for the eighth straight time this season, 8-6.

Let's Go Tribe: Indians slug past Tigers and earn 8-5 victory

    MLB

The Indians prevailed tonight in a game that resembled last week's home run derby at times. Hitters recorded seven dingers tonight, with Oscar Mercado and Jordy Mercer hitting two apiece. When the dust settled, Brad Hand earned another save and propelled the Indians to a 52-40 record.

Victor Reyes led off tonight's game with a single, and he attempted to score form first when Harold Castro mashed a first-pitch double. It caromed off the wall and hopped near Oscar Mercado's before the center fielder scooped it up and fired to Francisco Lindor. He relayed it to the plate just before Reyes collided with Roberto Perez.
