Giolito is the most profitable pitcher in MLB. You'd be up $954 on $100 if you bet on the Sox when he pitches this season. Sox bullpen has been 7th best in the majors since May 1st while Red Sox are 18th at home in that timespan. White Sox handle Lefties better than Righties. I'll take Chi Sox as my Dog of the Day.80%

I want to take Giolito in this spot but it's a little scary to do so. He's been having a break out year and he's mowed down some pretty solid lineups so far. Rodriguez on the other hand is a complete reverse splits pitcher and this white sox team doesn't have any lefties that worry me. I can't go with the white sox because I'm worried about run support but I also worry about taking the Red sox (especially at this price) because htey are facing a leading CY Young candidate. So after thinking about it more, I'll ride the under because I'm a fan of both these pitchers in this spot. I like the under 4.5 first five the most because I can't trust the white sox pen in this spot. The thing that I love about these pitchers is they are both high strike out guys and that just helps them get out of trouble if they find themselves in it.50%

Getting Giolito at these odds? Can somebody talk me off this bet?

I cant fathom why Lucas Giolito is at +150 odds. He has been one of the best pitchers in all of baseball and is going up against a Red Sox team that looked outmatched by the Blue Jays at home in their last series. They got lucky they didnt get swept. While Erod has been pretty decent for the Sox, he does give up a lot of runs. This isnt good when going against one of the better ERA pitchers in baseball. Take the CWS before the line moves60%

Chicago White Sox (57% consensus). The Boston Red Sox just suffered through a terrible weekend in their return home, failing to take advantage of a team below them in the standings while falling below .500 at Fenway Park. The defending champions will get another shot to win a series at home when they host the Chicago White Sox in the opener of a three-game series on Monday... http://bit.ly/2Ge9NAq

Over the Monster: Red Sox 6, White Sox 5: Marco Hernandez walks it off
The Red Sox needed something to spark some momentum ahead of their overseas trip across the pond to London. This series against the White Sox was their last chance to do just that, and they got off to a good start on Monday. Boston was trailing for a lot of this game, coming back to tie multiple times but failing to jump out in front. Eduardo Nunez was able to tie the game a couple of times with big swings, and then in the ninth they loaded the bases in front of Marco Hernandez.

I Wish This Was Relevant: The Red Sox won the final three games of a four-game series against the White Sox on May 3-5 by a combined score of 30-5.
After hitting one triple in their first 42 games, the Red Sox have hit 12 in their last 37 games. The team's 13 triples rank fifth in the AL. The Royals lead the league with 26 three-baggers!
