This is another game where I love both the pitchers and feel (like I always do when sherzer takes the mound) that you will be sweating the win because of the Nats lack of run support. I really like robbie ray and hope he can maintain his walks because that's the only flaw in his game (granted it's a big flaw). I sweat the Nationals never put up more than 5 runs against normal pitchers (when sherzer is on the mound) and I see that being the case tonight. I'm hoping the pen of the Nats dont kill me but i'm on the under because max is max and these two pitchers can get out of any jam with their ability to strike guys out.

I said in a previous post that Arizona has found a nice groove and they are playing lights out with a good balance right now. Scherzer can certainly be dominant but Arizona will squeeze all they can out of him while Ray just rumbles along keeping it close and reachable for the Dbacks to take Washington down.60%

I gotta go with the Dbacks here after the nats almost got no hit last night. Mad Max has been great in his career at home and against the Dbacks but they are playing to well right now for me to go against them. Give me the Dbacks at great value here70%

Washington Nationals (61% consensus). The Arizona Diamondbacks haven't been shy about flexing their offensive muscle, erupting for 49 runs while winning seven of their last eight contests. The Diamondbacks could be hard-pressed to keep up their free-wheeling scoring ways on Friday when they continue their four-game series against three-time Cy Young Award recipient Max Scherzer and the host Washington Nationals... http://bit.ly/2GhF85v

Washington Times: Nationals break up Greinke's no-hitter in 7th, fall to Diamondbacks
Zack Greinke took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Washington Nationals 5-0 on Thursday night.
Alex Avila and Jarrod Dyson homered for Arizona, which has won seven of eight.
Greinke (8-2) pitched 7 1/3 innings, leaving after a 63-minute rain delay. The right-hander struck out three without a walk.
He had faced the minimum when Trea Turner led off the seventh with a grounder between first and second. First baseman Christian Walker made a diving stop but was unable to get off a throw against the speedy Turner, who legged out an infield single.
