I like the braves tonight for a few reasons. I often target pitchers who I feel are going to face regression but I feel like Julio is going to progress this game because the line up of the cards favors his game. The first three batters in the cards LU have high ISO and that's where he seems to struggle the most but he also holds righties to a .269 wOBA. He's facing 6 righties and he strikes them out at a 26.5% rate compared to the 19% rate he does to left handed bats. His control is always an issue but when he's on, he's on and I like this game for him. On the other side Wainwright has been getting tattooed by lefties and his velocity is down at this point in his career. I think the braves will get to him and I'll ride them as my play today

Wainwright has struggled at the start of this season but not completely lost. I think facing the braves tonight he gets a chance to settle in. Teheran on the other side of the coin has had lapses in control and he is still battling with that. I look for the Cardinals to take advantage of it.
