OAK -152 and -1.5 is easy here, the bullpen has been a mess these past few games against Oakland and I think it won't be different this game as Oakland takes 3 straight.50%

TEXAS +148 - Texas is worth a chip bet here today with Kyle Dowdy getting his first start. The Rangers picked up Dowdy off waivers from NY Mets and reportedly like the improvements he showed late last season and his ability to pitch multiple innings gives the Rangers a long man to replace Jason Hammel. Dowdy underwent Tommy John surgery last summer and reportedly has seen an uptick in his fast ball, and his slider and curveball both improved. I'm going to take shot in the dark and give this kid a chance tonight.50%

San Jose Mercury News: Athletics pull record even at 13-13 with big win over Rangers
OAKLAND -- The Athletics got even Tuesday night on the strength of a six-run fourth inning in an 11-5 win over the Texas Rangers at the Coliseum.
The win improved the Athletics' record to 13-13 before a warm-weather crowd of 10,496 as they seek a sweep in Wednesday's getaway game and embark on a nine-game road trip. Texas fell to 12-10.
Frankie Montas (4-1) was the winning pitcher, and although he's had more dominant games, the right-hander escaped a bases-loaded no out jam in the top of the fourth preceding the Athletics' big inning in the bottom of the inning.

Lone Star Ball: 12-10 - Coliseum remains unkind as Rangers lose 11-5 to Athletics
I came down with some kind of gnarly flu today and the baseball gods rewarded me with a Lance Lynn start in Oakland. I feel like the Rangers played.
Player of the Game: Whichever mayor figures out a way to pry the A's away from that cursed cathedral of misery.
Up Next: The Rangers get to be done playing in that hell hole for a little while after tomorrow. Someone will start the game for Texas in Drew Smyly's stead while the Athletics will run whatever a RHP Aaron Brooks is in the finale.
