Dodgers Pen is rested, Kershaw is debuting, Castillo has been lights out so far this year. That's plenty for me to take the under in this one. Gonna be a lot of swing and misses in this one. Castillo has 25K's and has only given up 5 total hits so far in 2 starts this season. It's tempting to take the Dodgers straight up and parlay this one but I think I'll stick with the Under. While both teams pens have been off this season, you have two plus starters on the mound and again, that Dodgers pen didn't really have to get up on the mound in the finale in Milwaukee. Nerves shouldn't be an issue for the vet Kershaw at home.

    My Pick: Under 8.5 50%

I see this total at 7.5 eveywhere so i'm going to do this write up according to that price. I'm on the over beacuse we have Castillo who's a huge strike out pitcher and Kershaw is Kershaw. I really feel we start to see a decline with kershaw and that's not to say he's going to be horrible pitcher. I'm just saying I think he will give up a more runs and I expect his strike out rate to drop this year because he will pitch for contact. We saw that at the end of last year and he does a good job at it. But castillo has been lit up in the past by teams just like this dodger team. They have great patience at the plate and they have the power to take him deep. Once Castillo is off, he's a fucking mess and dives hard and I think we may see that tonight. I also think kershaw gives up a few as well and I really like the over 7.5 and feel the public will be all over the under because of the names of the pitchers and their reputation

    My Pick: Over 8.5
