If UNC can beat Duke TWICE by more than 7. Then this matchup should be a breeze for UNC.

  • Card Chronicle: North Carolina runs away from Louisville in ACC tournament quarterfinals, 83-70

Louisville will have to wait at least another year for its first trip to the ACC tournament semifinals. The seventh-seeded Cardinals couldn't keep up with No. 2 seed North Carolina Thursday night in Charlotte, ultimately taking an 83-70 defeat.

U of L was brilliant for stretches against the Tar Heels. Unfortunately, those stretches were outweighed by ones where the Cardinals were frustrating, and even more where North Carolina was simply more brilliant.

Coby White, UNC's star freshman point guard who had played so poorly in each of the first two meetings against Louisville, seemed to finally figure the Cardinals out.

  • Fansided: Louisville basketball: 3 keys to beating North Carolina

Louisville basketball has found themselves in the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament after getting a much needed blowout victory over Notre Dame, and awaiting them is a rubber match game with the North Carolina Tarheels.

Louisville absolutely rumbusticated UNC in their first meeting in Chapel Hill- an 83-62 shellacking that is Roy Williams's worst home defeat as the Carolina coach.

Since that game though, North Carolina has been on an absolute tear, going 14-1 over their last 15- including a solid beatdown of the very same Louisville team in the KFC Yum! Center two weeks later.
