Texas can't score but they do have a defense and have the size to compete in the paint, so I expect them to slow down KU. Under 137.5 is worth a look.
My Pick: Under 137.5

The youth of Texas has really shown down the stretch, as the Horns have dropped 4 out of their last 5. They split the home-and-home series during the regular season but even with KU's injuries this season I still think they have the most talent on the floor, especially on offense. Texas has a solid defense but ranked 168th on offense and only averaged 53 points in their last 2 games. Big edge to KU offense tonight, lay it.
My Pick: Kansas -2.5
- 69 Agree
Kansas has really had their issues this season without Azubuike and Vick, not to mention Silvio de Sousa, who was declared ineligible for all of this season and the 2019-20 campaign. The Jayhawks are trying to get by with secondary options. Lawson is a force in the low block and that is going to be a massive undertaking for Texas, especially Osetkowski, to handle. The Jayhawks have been here before and they should have a fair amount of crowd support with the Sprint Center being within relative shouting distance of Lawrence. Texas hasnt proven that they are capable of playing a full 40 minutes and thats their undoing here. Kansas moves on and Texas is left wondering if their record is worth an at-large bid in March Madness.
My Pick: Kansas -2.5
- 73 Agree
Rock Chalk Talk: Kansas takes out Texas in Big 12 tournament
This one was a battle from the start, though perhaps not an appealing one. Kansas held the lead early, but it remained close throughout. David McCormack continued his run of increasingly good play, tied for a team high with nine first half points to go with four rebounds and an emphatic block. A Texas run late in the half had given them a six point lead, but Kansas came back to tie it at 29 apiece heading into the break. KU had some trouble with their half court offense, as we've seen so much this year, and attempted only 5 threes, hitting one.

Kansas City Star: 'Eager' Jayhawks to take on Texas on Thursday: 'We should have continued the streak'
After failing to win the Big 12 regular-season title for the first time in 15 seasons, Kansas' basketball team Thursday begins its quest for a ninth conference postseason tournament title in the 16-year Bill Self era.
"I do think there will be a sense of urgency," Self said, referring to his No. 17-ranked players who take a 23-8 record and No. 3 seeding into a quarterfinal clash against Texas (16-15). Tipoff is approximately 8:30 p.m. at the Sprint Center.
"I think they'll be very excited to a part of this and go roll the dice."
Self's Jayhawks have won the tournament eight times and lost in the finals once.
