I wasn't sold on Maryland early in the season but I've come on board. They are on a nice little streak now after jumping a few early hurdles. I think they get a close cover at home.

    My Pick: Maryland -6

  • Let's take our East Carolina money from last night and put it on Maryland - tonight. Statistically these two teams are almost identical but Indiana is battling injuries and both Davis and Forrester are questionable with injuries. Maryland is the better team with the better resume, I'll lay the points with the Terps at home.

    My Pick: Maryland -6 50%

I didn't like the way Hosiers played against Michigan. Made me jump on the Terp train. Maryland -6

  • Testudo Times: Maryland basketball dominates 2nd half, beats Indiana 78-75

With 1:12 remaining in Maryland basketball's 78-74 loss to Seton Hall on Dec. 22, Bruno Fernando missed a three-pointer on a possession the Terps desperately needed a bucket. After the game, the sophomore said he works on that shot in practice, so he decided it was a good shot.

With 2:48 left against Indiana on Friday night and Maryland leading 66-60, Fernando found himself in the same position. This time he banked in the three as part of a career night. The sophomore scored a career-high 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, powering Maryland to a 78-75 win over the No.

Maryland basketball looks to push its winning streak to five games when it hosts No. 22 Indiana Friday night.

The Terps are coming off an 82-67 win at Minnesota Tuesday night, using a 35-13 run to close the game and turn a nailbiter into a convincing win. Anthony Cowan Jr. matched a career-high with 27 points, scoring 23 in a second half where Maryland shot 69.6 percent from the field. Jalen Smith added 21 points, and Bruno Fernando chipped in 10 points and 11 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season.

  • Fansided: Indiana Basketball: Injury updates ahead of matchup with Maryland

The Hoosiers have felt the injury bug all season long, with a multitude of injuries.

Without Rob Phinisee (Concussion), De'Ron Davis (Ankle), and Jake Forrester (Ankle) recently, the depth that was a headline heading into the season has quickly dwindled down.

During his press conference on Thursday, Miller updated the public on the injury situation ahead of Friday's matchup against Maryland.

Per Archie, as of right now, Rob Phinisee is not in position to play at Maryland on Friday. Hasn't been cleared for full contact yet. #iubb

Archie says De'Ron Davis (ankle) and Jake Forrester (ankle) are limited and more or less out of practice, respectively, right now.

Mark Turgeon and the Maryland Terrapins play host to the Hoosiers on Friday looking to continue their good play after winning at Minnesota on Tuesday.

Sitting at 13-3 (4-1) on the season, Maryland keeps tinkering in and out of the top 25 each week.

With one of Turgeon's more talented teams in the last five years, they are led by a duo in the front court that many teams have yet to slow down.

Bruno Fernando, one of the most underrated players in the conference, anchors the paint on both ends, leading the Big Ten in field goal percentage (67.
