BOSTON -8 - The Chicago Bulls are a better team with Markkanen back in the lineup, but that's still not not saying much. The Celtics moped the floor with them when they played a couple of weeks ago and without Dunn or Portis in the lineup for Chicago you have to think they will cruise tonight. I'll lay the points.
My Pick: Boston -8

Boston won 4 straight games and are on a hot streak. They are playing good ball right now and putting up big numbers. Portis and Dunn MIGHT be back for Chicago but don't think they will be well enough to make a difference in taking down Boston. Boston makes it 5 straight wins today.

Fansided: Boston Celtics Set Franchise Record For Margin of Victory vs Bulls, 133-77
The Boston Celtics jumped out to a 17-0 lead, cruising to their fifth consecutive win, battering the Chicago Bulls, 133-77, at the United Center Saturday night.
The 56-point win was the largest margin of victory in Celtics franchise history, topping a 51-point victory over the Philadelphia Warriors on March 7, 1962.
For the second game in a row, Boston led from start to finish, holding a double-digit lead the entire second half and taking care of business early against an overmatched Eastern Conference foe. Boston's 133 points were also a season-high.
Daniel Theis scored a career-high 20 points in his first start of the season, filling in at center for Al Horford, who missed the game with knee soreness.
CelticsBlog: The Celtics look to extend their four-game win streak with a rematch against the lowly Chicago Bulls.
Winners of four consecutive games -- and five of their last six -- the Boston Celtics are finally starting to look like the team we all envisioned them to be this past summer. An offense that has been mired in mediocrity for much of the year is suddenly firing on all cylinders; the Celtics haven't scored fewer than 113 points in any game during the run, and they lead the NBA in net rating (+15.2) over that span of time.
The schedule has helped, of course. Though they've scored impressive wins over the playoff-hopeful New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves, the other three have come against teams more concerned with Zion Williamson than playing basketball in May: the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks.
Consensus betting prediction from the Covers.com community:
Boston Celtics (66% consensus). The Boston Celtics have put it all together on the offensive end of the floor and can extend their winning streak to a season-high five games when they visit the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. After struggling to score on a consistent basis during a 4-8 swoon, the Celtics are averaging 124.5 points during their current 4-0 stretch... http://bit.ly/2iH5SOv
Official Site of the Bulls: Keys to the Game: Bulls vs Celtics (12.08.18)
Tonight the Bulls close out a back-to-back set of games in meeting the Boston Celtics at the United Center. Earlier this season Chicago visited Beantown and the Cs ran away with a 111-82 victory at TD Garden. Six Bostonians recorded double-figures led by Jaylen Brown's 18 points. Kyrie Irving added 17 more to go along with six rebounds and seven assists while Jayson Tatum chipped in 14 points and Terry Rozier came off the bench to net 12. The Bulls were led by backup point guard Shaquille Harrison's 16 points while Jabari Parker added 14.
Gang Green comes into this evening having won four in-a-row, the last of which was a 128-100 thumping of the New York Knicks Thursday night.
Fansided: Boston Celtics News: Aron Baynes Listed As Doubtful For Chicago & More
The Boston Celtics head to Chicago for a Saturday night showdown with the Bulls, looking for their fifth consecutive win. Chicago is 6-20, 1-1 after firing Fred Hoiberg and naming Jim Boylen the interim head coach.
After rolling his left ankle Thursday, Aron Baynes is listed as doubtful for the Chicago game and will be reevaluated prior to the Pelicans game Monday.
Notably absent from the injury report is Kyrie Irving, who is expected to play following what Irving called a 'weird play' involving his shoulder's AC joint toward the end of the Knicks game.
