Bullets Forever: Wizards vs. Cavaliers final score: Washington plays very bad game, loses to Cleveland 116-101
They say basketball is a game of runs. The Wizards' 116-101 loss to the Cavaliers on Saturday night was a game of one run, specifically the 20-3 run the Cavaliers used over the final five minutes of the first quarter to turn a four-point deficit into a 13-point lead at the end of the quarter.
When a run like that happens, you expect to see the other team respond with a run in kind. It may not happen right away, but usually the opposing team musters up some kind of response to make the game competitive again, even though it usually means they give up another run to make it a blowout again.

Bullets Forever: Wizards at Cavaliers GameThread
The Wizards are still on the road and they will face the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at 7 p.m. EST. You can watch the game at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Washington Plus. Though the channel on television changed, things are still the same on the radio. Dave Johnson and Glenn Consor can be heard on 1500 AM or the Wizards mobile app.
The Wizards just acquired Sam Dekker, and I said something bold and obvious at the same time. He won't play much even if his ankle wasn't injured. That said, Dekker will likely play more minutes and could even be a regular starter if the Wizards begin a rebuild this season.

ESPN.com: Wizards visit Cavaliers in search of fourth straight win
The Washington Wizards still possess a losing record, but things are starting to trend upwards as far as their record is concerned.
The Wizards seek a season-high fourth straight win Saturday night when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are playing the back end of a back-to-back set at home.
Washington (11-14) is on its second three-game winning streak of the season. The Wizards also won three straight Nov. 10-14 as they tried to recover from a dreadful 2-9 start.
The Wizards first attempt at winning four straight was a 115-104 home loss to the Brooklyn Nets Nov.

Fansided: Washington Wizards: Wizards head to Cleveland seeking 4th straight win
The Washington Wizards have been very successful the last three games even though none of the teams have been above .500. Despite this, the team's chemistry has improved and so has their team oriented play.
The Cleveland Cavaliers sit at 5-20, which is tied for last place in the Eastern Conference. The Cavs have demonstrated that they are filled with with youth and inexperience. Hence, why they've started shipping off their veterans.
Yesterday, the Wizards, Cavaliers, and Milwaukee Bucks completed a 3-team trade that sent Sam Dekker to Washington, Jason Smith, cash considerations, and George Hill to Milwaukee, and a 2022 second round draft pick along Matthew Dellavedova to Cleveland.

Official Site of the Wizards: Wizards in Cleveland in search of fourth straight win
The Wizards have been taking care of business. They've won three straight overall and the first two games on their current four-game road trip, and while none of the wins have come against teams over .500, they've come at a necessary time. Washington started the season 2-9, and now sits at 11-14 on the season entering another game against a struggling Cavaliers team.
Of course, LeBron James is now a Laker, and that has left a void in Cleveland that's impossible to fill in one offseason. In addition, the now-rebuilding Cavs (5-20) have dealt with injuries all season, making wins even harder to come by with a shorthanded team on many nights.
