The Nets go into DC at +2 in this matchup. The Wizards are playing better than expected currently sitting at 23-21. With Kevin Durant out in this matchup, ill give the edge to the Wizards at home. Bradley Beal of course leads the way for the Wizards and on the year he's averaging 23 ppg and 4 rpg and has had the luxury of getting a few games under his belt after his covid protocols. The supporting cast for the Wizards has really stepped up and play up to competition. Kyle Kuzma has 20+ points in 8 of his last 11 games, while also averaging 9 rebounds per game. Along with Dinwiddie, Harrell, and Caldwell-Pope the Wizards are well-rounded enough to beat a Durant-less Nets team. However, the Nets held teams to shooting 43% from the field this year, so close game, but Wizards will pull it off at home.

This will be an interesting game. The 27-16 Brooklyn Nets are the better team, but they are pretty injured. They will be without Kevin Durant, Joe Harris, Paul Millsap, and Nicolas Claxton. On the other hand, their opponent, the 23-21 Wizards, are at full strength right now. This game will be close, but the Wizards will pull it out. They are playing at home, healthy, and just crushed the Philadelphia 76ers 117-98 in their last game. I highly recommend watching this game. It will be the game of the night. In conclusion, bet on the Wizards.

The Nets are second placed in the Eastern Conference with an overall record of 27-16 but are set to miss the services of star man Kevin Durant in this game. Thus, the burden will be on Patty Mills and Cameron Thomas to guide the team to a win against a Wizards team that has not been performing well lately. Covering the spread is proving an arduous task for the Wizards especially after a straight-up win given that in the last 4 games under such conditions, they have not covered. Also, overall the Wizards have covered only once in the last 7 games. The Nets on the flipside are experts in covering especially on Wednesday games. In the last 7 games played on the day, they're 5-2 ATS. You can bank on the Nets to cover here despite the expected absence of Kevin Durant.
