Curry dropped 40 on the Bulls earlier this season, but now the Warriors are on a bit of a cold spell going 1-4 over the last 5 and will be without Draymond, Klay, and Payton II. I think the Bulls will be extra jazzed up for this one after losing to the Nets in a big way in order to show the league they can compete in this league. The Bulls are also 15-5 at home. 4 points is too little in my opinion, take the Bulls to cover.

One of these two teams will continue their surprising run of poor play as of late. The Bulls followed up their 9-game winning streak with taking big losses to Dallas and Brooklyn, although they picked up a lopsided win against Detroit sandwiched in-between those two games. Meanwhile the Golden State Warriors have lost 4 out of their last 5 games. This will also be the second half of a back-to-back for them that saw them lose by nearly 20 points to the Bucks last night. They will also be without the recently returned Klay Thompson for this one as they look to manage his minutes after having been gone for so long. With the Warriors stumbling a little and having played last night, I'm confident the Chicago Bulls should pick up this home win.

$100 | CHI -175

Golden State has been on a bit of a slide lately as they have struggled to put up the offensive numbers they did earlier in the season. They’ve dropped from being the best offense in the NBA to 12th and are in an adjustment period as Klay Thompson makes his way back into the lineup. He’s been effective, but limited, and while the Warriors defense has helped them to keep winning some games, their offense needs to function at a higher level to be a legitimate contender. The Bulls are 8-2 and look like the best team in the East. Their mix of defense and opportunistic offense have turned them into an elite squad and they should do well against the Warriors.

Prediction: Bulls win straight up.

Bulls have lost the last 9 head-to-head matches against the Warriors and I can imagine them being eager to get that bad taste out of their mouth Brooklyn game them 2 days ago. Warriors are struggling, having lost their last 4 road games by an average of 12.25 points and on a back-to-back. Meanwhile, the bulls have won 9 of their last 10 home games. Bulls like to attack the paint and I just can't see anyone on this Golden State roster, especially with Draymond still being out, dealing with Lavine, Derozan or Vuc on the interior. This seems like a reasonable spread to me.

The Warriors lost the last game 118-99 to the Bucks and will definitely go out all guns blazing as they seek to get their season back to order. They started the season well but have lost a good score of matches recently which is definitely disheartening for the team. Luckily, they have a brilliant 9-1 record against the Bulls and are therefore most likely to win this match. Nonetheless, I doubt they have the mettle to win this time round given the poor run that has seen them lose 4 out of the last 5 games. In offense, the Warriors are unrivaled but recently, they have been surprisingly wanting on the defensive end. Also, they have been finding it hard to score more than 100 points per game and against an opponent such as the Bulls, such a record will see the Warriors lose by a considerable margin. Take the Bulls to cover.

The Warriors are 30-10 and go into Chicago at +3.75. The Bulls are 27-12 and are meshing well this year with new pieces. The Warriors are top in a number of defensive categories this year. Most notably they are first in points allowed per game with 101, and first in opp fg% at 42%. However, I have to give the edge to Chicago in this matchup, on this day. The Bulls are going into this game just down Alex Caruso. That's important. But that's nowhere near as important as being down Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and GP2. On the Bulls side DeRozan has played better than expected, and lets face it, expectations were through the roof with his supporting cast. He is averaging 26 ppg with 5 rpg and 4 apg. This along with LaVines ability to produce 25 ppg and Vucevic a walking double-double, will have the Warriors leaving Chicago with an L.
