The Warriors rank 10th this postseason in defensive efficiency and have struggled this season against Portland's prolific offense. I think the Dubs will miss Durants length on the perimeter, I like Portland to cover in a high-scoring game.
I like the Blazers here to keep it close and cover the +7.5. They are coming off a grind it out series with a deep Nuggets team. Their bench players proved that they can play in big spots and stepped up when they needed to. Dame and CJ are hot right now and I think they will go toe to toe with Steph and Klay. I think this series come downs to the bench play and I like Portland to provide that
In 88 minutes w/o Durant, Golden State is -15 vs Portland over the past two years. Here's the stat that intrigues me... in the 81 minutes without Nurkic on the floor this season vs. Golden State, Portland was +47.
I just don't believe in this blazers team and I'm pretty sure we are going to see them get destroyed this seried KD or not. Portland was lucky because they shouldn't be here in the first place because denver handed them a few W's that last series and McCollum and Lillard are chock artist. I'm on team "lets make a statement early" and will take the warriors to blow them out.
Both teams had to extend themselves in the last series and Portland has been a bit of a surprise to me. I know the Warriors just pulled off what some say was a miracle game without KD but that won't happen tonight. Let Portland keep blowing my mind for at least one more night.
Damian Lillard, Blazers face uphill battle against Golden State Warriors | SI.comThe Blazers couldn't have scripted a better start in the NBA playoffs but do they have a realistic shot at beating the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals? For Portland, any potential upset over Golden State begins and ends with Damian Lillard. https://www.si.com/nba/2019/05/14/damian-lillard-cj-mccollum-blazers-warriors-western-conference-finals-preview?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=sinow&xid=socialflow_twitter_si&utm_medium=social
Why Kevin Durant's injury is Warriors blessing in disguise vs. BlazersKevin Durant's injury forced the Warriors to sharpen their focus against the Rockets, and his return could do similar things in the Western Conference finals, as Monte Poole explains. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/why-kevin-durants-injury-warriors-141633590.html
This should be an entertaining series. So much is on the line. Possibly GSW's last run at a title. Without Durant for Game 1 & 2. This has potential to be one of the most epic series' ever. I still got GSW in 6.
The Portland Trail Blazers beat the Warriors in the last meeting by 22 points as two-point underdogs and that was against a healthy Warriors team. The Dubs are banged up and without their best player. I really thought this spread would have been -2 or -3 and it opened at -8? WTF, give me the points.
