Miami is doing all they can to stay atop of their division and they will be able to pull through tonight. It will be tough, seeing how they have some injuries they're dealing with.

Miami Heat vs Washington Wizards on 2019-03-23 added by OddsShark

Free Betting Prediction: Miami will WIN , Cover the Spread , and the Total will go Under .

The Miami Heat hold the final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference and will attempt to create some separation from the rest of the pack with a win over the Washington Wizards in D.C. Sportsbooks opened the Heat as 1.5-point underdogs with a total of 221.Heat vs Wizards Game Center. Original matchup:

  • Bullets Forever: Wizards vs. Heat final score: Washington's late rally falls short in 113-108 loss to Miami

For the second time in two games, the Wizards had an opportunity to tie a game late in regulation with an open three, and for the second time, the shot didn't fall as the Wizards wound up losing to the Heat 113-108 on Saturday night.

Washington went on a 7-0 run late in the fourth quarter to give themselves a chance, but when they had a chance to tie the game the Heat forced the ball out of Bradley Beal's hands with a hard double team that left Tomas Satoransky open for three.

  • Official Site of the Wizards: Wizards fall short down the stretch in 113-108 loss to Heat

Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat are in the midst of a battle for the No. 8 seed as the star's farewell season draws to a close, and the Wizards didn't have the answers to stop them Saturday. Wade scored a team-high 20 points (nine rebounds) off the bench to lead six double-figure scorers as Miami got a critical win in D.C. for its postseason aspirations, 113-108.

Saturday's tilt was the definition of the cliche that basketball is a game of runs, and the two teams were nearly dead even through three quarters despite both having double-digit leads along the way.

Miami Herald: Wade, Adebayo help lead Heat past Wizards

A difficult road trip that could have left the Heat out of playoff position instead turned out quite nicely, and now Miami goes home clinging to the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference and still holding out hopes of ascending higher.

A night after being drubbed in Milwaukee, the Heat summoned the necessary energy after a slow start, and the greatness of Dwyane Wade, to dispatch the Washington Wizards, 113-108, on Saturday and finish the road trip at 3-1.

In improving to 36-37, the Heat moved one full game ahead of No. 9 Orlando, which visits AmericanAirlines Arena on Tuesday.
