Dallas has a good squad but are a couple players short of being a good team. They will give a good effort tonight but I don't think they matchup well with the Nuggets.
My Pick: Denver -11.5

I have to take Denver in this spot here because of two reasons. First, it's in Denver and teams struggle in altitude and the other reason is I believe the Mavs are tanking. I honestly think Luka is missing free throws on purpose because there is just no way he should ever shoot 1-9 from the charity stripe. Dallas gets to keep their draft pick if they are a top four pick and they don't want to get scrutinized and fined by the league for not playing their top players. They lost by 7 last game and Luka missed 8 free throws so maybe it's just my conspiracy theorist inside me, but I really think they are trying to lose with out it appearing that they are trying to lose.
My Pick: Denver -11

LOCK OF THE NIGHT. Denver at home is an easy one. The MAvs are terrible on the road only winning 6 games out of 33. while the Nuggets have only lost 6 game at home all year. It really doesnt make any sense to continue risking Doncic playing, especially if hes dealing with a knee issue. The Mavericks have to be careful not to let his pride get in the way of what should be a prosperous future in the NBA. Carlisle might actually do the right thing and sit him in this game, but Im more inclined to believe hell play with limited minutes. This would be a great game to rest him considering the Mavericks are going up against the No. 2-ranked team in the Western Conference. The writing is already on the wall for this game, particularly with the Nuggets sitting only two games behind the No. 1-ranked Golden State Warriors. The Mavericks are clearly a team thats rebuilding and trying to get healthy, while the Nuggets continue to go all in for a 2019 postseason run. Nuggets with ease here
My Pick: Denver -11

Denver Stiffs: Game Thread: Dallas Mavericks at Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets are 1.5 games back from Golden State, and 3 games up on the Rockets and Thunder. A win tonight against a tanking Dallas team would help keep the two-seed alive.

Denver Stiffs: Preview: Nuggets take on Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks in another national television matchup
The Denver Nuggets will host the Dallas Mavericks tonight in another national television matchup, making this the fourth straight game the Nuggets will play on ESPN or TNT. Before Tuesday's win against the shorthanded Minnesota Timberwolves, the Nuggets were 6-7 in their previous 13 games, trending in the wrong direction after setting a high standard during the first half of the season.
Michael Malone and the coaching staff used a tough media session following last Friday's blowout versus the Golden State Warriors, and if the game against the T'Wolves is to be used as a barometer for that message, it was clearly heard.

Official Site of the Nuggets: Game Preview: Nuggets Continue Home Stand Against Mavericks
Coming off a feel-good, bounce-back performance on Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Denver Nuggets look to build on that momentum when they welcome the Dallas Mavericks to town.
Denver (44-22) used strong ball movement and 3-point shooting to comfortably defeat the Timberwolves. The Nuggets finished with 40 assists and shot 60 percent from beyond the arc as Minnesota could not keep up with Denver's high-powered offense.
The Mavericks (27-40) come into tonight's matchup on a six-game losing streak and are just 1-9 in their last ten games. Despite Luka Donu010diu0107's strong production this season, the Mavericks are just 4-13 since they made the blockbuster trade for Kristaps Porzingis in late January.

Fansided: Dallas Mavericks: Should Kostas Antetokounmpo get a long-term contract?
Dallas Mavericks fans often pay so much attention to the main stars that other players get overlooked. Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis, and Dirk Nowitzki have all been given their rightful amount of recognition, but it's always good to look at less heralded players wearing the Mavericks jersey. Today, the focus shifts to Kostas Antetokounmpo.
Kostas was last seen in Dallas action during the NBA preseason, where he played four games. He averaged 4.8 points and 1.5 rebounds per game over the preseason while shooting 87.5 percent from the field.
