Utah should win this game I'm just not sure the points are covered. Utah has been good for the most part this year, but once again they are struggling this week.50%

Love the Jazz here. Things are typically different with the Jazz at home as opposed to being on the road. Granted, they did lose a tough game to the Thunder at the Vivint Smart Home Arena, but that loss came against the No. 4-ranked team in the league in defensive efficiency. They wont have those issues on Thursday against the Timberwolves, who ranks among the worst teams in defensive efficiency and scoring. Opponents are averaging 117.4 points per game against the Timberwolves on the road. Only the Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards and Suns have a worse scoring defense statistically on the road. Gobert is also good enough to battle with Towns under the basket for second-chance shot opportunities. The Jazz are continuing to fight for their postseason life in every game. There is no comfort that comes with sitting in the eighth spot of the Western Conference standings. They are merely only a couple games behind the Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs. Mitchell and Gobert both had solid games the last couple times these two teams met, and given the importance of this game, its hard to envision things going any differently in Utah. The Superman act continues for Mitchell, and Gobert gets his hands dirty on the boards to propel the Jazz to their second consecutive win.

Canis Hoopus: Wolves 100 - Jazz 120: Falling Flat
That was some good tanking. At this point in the season, one can only hope that the Wolves are able to take a realistic look at their roster and the rest of the NBA and know that it is in their best interest to lose some games.
Of course, this is not in everyone's best interest. The Wolves can't sit Karl-Anthony Towns, who is on his way to a potential All-NBA nomination to secure a larger contract. Nor does Ryan Saunders necessarily want to lose games, as he is theoretically coaching for his job.
But the Wolves can do small things, things which I shall pretend are done with the intention of realizing where they are.
Canis Hoopus: Game #69: Wolves at Jazz
8:00pm CDT, Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, UT
Fox Sports North
After falling to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night 133-107, the Wolves were supposed to fly to Salt Lake City late Tuesday night for their next scheduled opponent: the Utah Jazz. However, before the team could officially take off, they encountered a surprise foe en route to the airport:
As the team continues to subtly tank the remainder of the season, the Wolves eventually gave in to the upstart Bomb Cyclone, deciding to focus their attention on Game of Thrones, rather than dethroning some of the game's best:
After a lengthy delay, the Wolves did indeed get out of Denver successfully this morning, meaning the team arrived just in time to grab lunch, take a nap, and then square off against the feisty and playoff-bound Utah Jazz.
