We have been seeing games with totals as high as 244 this season and I'm not sure why this game isn't closer to that. The kings love to fly up and down the court and if Buddy Hield is semi on, it's over. Then you bring it back the with suns who hate playing defense and love shooting the ball. Some times I wish I could go back to about 5 years ago to see my reaction if I ever heard a 233 total was possibly to low, but that's where we are today.

    My Pick: Over 231

oops, I meant 231 but still Over 231

  • Ill take the Kings in this spot. We have 2 young squads battling it out in this one and theirseason are going in wildly different directions. Phoenix has seen things fall apart with 13 straight losses. If it wasnt for the Knicks, theyd easily have the longest losing skid in the league. The Suns are missing Booker, who has missed the last couple games with a hamstring strain. In addition, Warren and Melton are both questionable as well here, which could take the top two scorers out of play. Sacramento has played well of late with four wins in their last five games. The Kings are at home and facing a Suns team that has been hammered repeatedly of late, you can feel safe with backing the Kings. This line should move. Id feel comfortable all the way up to -9.5

    My Pick: Sacramento -3 50%

  • Sactown Royalty: Kings 117, Suns 104: Marvin Bagley drops a career high 32 points

The Sacramento Kings took care of business against the Suns tonight, despite the Suns making it seem like they'd attempt another comeback similar to their last matchup. Marvin Bagley was on fire the whole game, then officially erupted in the fourth quarter to help keep the Suns away. The Kings end the six-game homestand with a 5-1 record and now have six tough opponents on the way, with four of them being on the road.

    Quarter-by-Quarter Recap

A solid start for Sacramento in the first. They were up 17-8 to start but Phoenix answered with a 7-0 run to close the gap at 17-15.

Sacramento led by as many as 21 points in the first half in handing the Suns a 14th consecutive loss, 117-104, Sunday afternoon at Golden 1 Center.

The Suns (11-47) are a loss away from tying a franchise record for consecutive defeats set last season.

Bright Side Of The Sun: Recap: Kings cruise to easy 117-104 victory over Suns

The Sacramento Kings (30-26) pulled away in the second quarter and never looked back, rolling to a 117-104 victory against the Phoenix Suns (11-47) behind a career-high 32 points from Marvin Bagley III.

The Suns were in early Sunday afternoon mode to start off the game, with the Kings pulling out to a 15-6 advantage while trying to exploit a size advantage of Nemanja Bjelica over the combination of Josh Jackson and Mikal Bridges.

With the return of Devin Booker and Tyler Johnson making his first start, DeAndre Ayton was the only size in Phoenix's starting lineup.

(68% consensus). The Sacramento Kings are taking advantage of their longest homestand of the season to surge back toward the top eight in the Western Conference. They will attempt to finish the six-game stay at Golden 1 Center with another victory when they host the sliding Phoenix Suns, losers of 13 straight, in a Sunday matinee...

  • Sactown Royalty: Kings vs. Suns Preview: Payback Time

The Sacramento Kings are in the midst of their first real playoff run in over a decade, and with the Western Conference being so tough and the race being so close, every game matters. The Kings wish they could have some of their earlier season losses back right now, perhaps none more than their loss to Phoenix on Jan. 8th in which they gave up a 21 point lead to a Devin Booker-less Suns team.

For most of the season, the Kings have done a fantastic job at beating the teams they're supposed to, sporting a 20-5 record against teams below .

Injuries: Suns - T.J. Warren out (ankle), Devin Booker probable (hamstring), De'Anthony Melton - out (ankle); Kings - None

The struggle bus sputters along as the depleted Suns make a pit stop in Sacramento to face the Kings, who are surprisingly in the mix for a playoff spot as the season approaches the home stretch.

The Suns are coming off a surprisingly strong performance against the Golden State Warriors Friday night, but eventually succumbed in a 117-107 defeat that stretched their streak to 13 straight losses in the process.
