Top 3 in terms of boards in the NBA against a team where the rookie point guard is the leading rebounder on the team now with around 7 per game. Dallas shot lights out with 20 3's last game and they take a lot of three's every game but rank 20th in terms of makes. Doubt they drop as frequently today and even if they did you're up against a team that can outpace you in that category as well. Blazers baby.

There's no denying that McCollum has been playing lights out. He's taken on more of a role on the offense and has pure fire his last five games. I'm seeing lines of 20.5 and 21.5 for points and I'm all over either of those. The thing people forget is that Dallas traded away Matthews and Barnes who were both excellent defenders. I think CJ continues his streak and I'm on the over

This will be an interesting game. The Trail Blazers are sub-par on the road this year while the Mavs are far better at home. The Mavs made the biggest deal of the deadline that brought Porzingis to Dallas and sent DeAndre Jordan to the Big Apple. That removed Dallass big interior presence on the offensive end of the floor and makes them a more perimeter-oriented team. Portland has played well of late with McCollum stepping up his game. The Trail Blazers can pound the ball down low with Nurkic and Aminu to set up open looks for their star backcourt duo. Portland gets the upper hand in this one, even being on the road.
My Pick: Portland -4.5
