Portland had a real shot at beating the Nuggets last night and I think they take out their frustration on the Kings tonight.

    My Pick: Portland +2.5

Two high scoring teams without any injuries. I think a lot of money can be made in this one and if you're going to picking the teams you have to also go with Over to add more value. This is a toss up and if I have to pick I'm going with Kings and Over as I think Blazers on a back-to-back will be more sloppy.

Second road game on a back-to-back for Portland and they've won 8 of the last 11. Sacramento has won 3 of 4 after a 4 game skid. I'll take Kings at home.

    My Pick: Sacramento -2.5

I like the blazers in this one. They almost stole one last night in Denver at altitude against a top ranked team. The Trail Blazers have also been consistent this season in their ability to bounce back and avoid back-to-back losses. I think theyll continue that trend tonight and put an abrupt end to the Kings two-game winning streak. Not many people realize the Kings have the sixth-ranked scoring offense in the NBA, averaging 114.7 points per game. The problem, however, is their inability to stop anyone on defense. Opponents are averaging 115.6 points per against their defense, which ranks better than only the Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards and New York Knicks. I expect a more experienced Lillard to take advantage of his match-up against Fox and once again put up big numbers. There will be no excuses for a slow start from McCollum in this game. Hell essentially be playing against the 21st-ranked team in defensive efficiency. Gimme blazers with the points

    My Pick: Portland +2.5

Sacramento have been skirting by teams and Portland has been beating people by double digits, I would lean Portland and the points in what should be a 50/50 game.

Fansided: Portland Trail Blazers: Concern over Maurice Harkless's lingering knee injury, questionable against Sacramento Kings

The Portland Trail Blazers have dealt with their fair share of turbulence at the starting small forward spot throughout this season. Although Maurice Harkless was chalked in as the starter during the offseason, a nagging knee injury has kept him from being a constant in this role.

The pain began in March 2018, following a Blazers win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Afterwards, Joe Freeman of the Oregonian quotes Harkless as saying:

"I kind of had a bad feeling about it [his knee]."

A few days later, the team uncovered that Harkless's feeling was more than that.

    NBA

The Sacramento Kings enter tonight's home contest against the Portland Trail Blazers riding a bit of a hot streak. The Kings have won 2-straight, and 3 of their last 4 since the schedule lightened up to incorporate some non-Western Conference powerhouses. That has been nice.

The Portland Trail Blazers might not be one of those said powerhouses, but they're right on the line. The Blazers are a good playoff tested squad and the Kings are going to have to bring their A-game tonight if they want to walk away with a win.
