Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Huerter, Collins lead Hawks to road win over the 76ers
John Collins hit a fadeaway jumper with 25 seconds left and the Hawks hung on for a 123-121 win over the 76ers on Friday night in Philadelphia.
The 76ers' Jimmy Butler was fouled on a drive and had a chance to tie the game with 2.4 seconds left. Butler, an 86 percent free-throw shooter, clanged both shots to waste the chance at the tie. But Wilson Chandler slipped under the basket on the second miss and had a tip-in at the horn but failed to convert, leaving the Sixers stunned as they trudged off the court.
Collins scored 25 points and Kevin Huerter hit five 3s and led the Hawks with 29 points.
Fansided: Atlanta Hawks: Kevin Huerter Clobbers 76ers, A Breathless Reaction
Playing the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center is not easy, as Philly has one of the best home crowds in the NBA. However, the Atlanta Hawks were able to visit the Sixers (playing without defensive anchor and best all-around player Joel Embiid) and defeat them on their home court.
All of the rapid reactions to this game must include some coverage of the one and only Kevin Huerter (or Red Pepper or Red Velvet or Red Head Redemption, credit to Atlanta Hawks Reddit for that one).
Huerter carried the Hawks down the end of this game and his fluid athleticism, striking pull-up shooting ability and extremely high IQ and he carved up the 76ers in this contest - especially in the 4th quarter when Huerter shared the backcourt with Jeremy Lin as opposed to Trae Young.

The Philadelphia 76ers have played 27 games since acquiring Jimmy Butler from Minnesota in November, and the effort to fit him into an offense featuring Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons continues heading into Fridays home game against the Atlanta Hawks. The 76ers are 18-9 since trading for Butler but not all is harmonious in the City of Brotherly Love, as Butler reportedly has criticized coach Brett Browns usage of him in the offense... http://bit.ly/2iH784i
