The total on this game is kind of shocking to me. I know the Thunder are one of those teams that can run with the best of them, but they play to their opponets. The Spurs do the same thing as evident by their game last night where they scored 86 points against a slow Memphis team. Playing their second game in as many days I think the spurs might come off a little slower than usual and I don't see this turning into a shoot out. I'll gladly take the Under and think that total is 5 to 10 points off.
My Pick: Under 225.5

The spurs just got done playing the best defensive team in the league last night. While it was a low scoring game the tempo can throw a team of going against one extreme to the other and I like the rested Thunder to win against the Spurs playing the tail end of a back to back.
My Pick: Oklahoma City -1.5

Something doesn't look right with Westbrook and his shooting. He's passing up on open looks that he normally takes and is opting to whip the ball to the line as opposed to laying it in when he drives. His points line has been hovering around 21.5-22.5 all season and tonight his line is 23. I know the landscape of the spurs is different this year with the DeRozan trade but Westy never topped 23 points last season against the spurs and I think that streak continues tonight. Westbrook under 23

Spurs have been BAD on the 2nd game of a back-to-backs (Lost 7 of last 8) but have gone 16-6 ATS at home this year. I could see Aldridge and others resting tonight. I like the youth of OKC in this one enough to Lay the Points.
My Pick: Oklahoma City -1.5

Tough to go against the Spurs who have found a second wind but in a basic pickem game thats what im leaning towards. Normally I would go with the home team that has been hot and is getting points at home but the Spurs looked terrible last night vs Memphis and they have been horrid defensively in the second game of back to back situations this season. Oklahoma City always plays them tough and is going to have a chip on their shoulder after losing back to back games. They also had Wednesday off to regroup, recover and get their mind right. Rudy Gay is also in this on which gives the Thunder a slight edge in this contest. I like the Thunder in this one
My Pick: Oklahoma City -1.5

Look for OKC to bounce back after 2 losses. Spurs come into this one on a back-to-back and I don't think their half court style offense will be enough to beat the Thunder who play at a much faster pace.

Pounding The Rock: The Spurs hit their first 14 three-pointers against the Thunder
Led by a red-hot Marco Belinelli, the Spurs hit their first 14 threes of the game, including going 10-10 in the first half, an NBA-best for any half over the last 20 years. It was the most threes the Spurs had opened a game hitting since they hit their first 11 against the Kings in 2002.
Belinelli hit 5-5, including three straight off steals in a 90-second span late in the first quarter, along with two from Patty Mills, three from Davis Bertans.
Bryn Forbes hit his first three three-point attempts to start the second half, followed by another for Bertans, before Derrick White had the first miss of the night.

Welcome to the game thread. The Spurs had a rough night last night against Memphis, with Davis Bertans getting ejected for muttering something under his breath, and Derrick White picking up 5 fouls for breathing hard on Mike Conley, and having to play short minutes.

San Antonio Spurs (58% consensus). The San Antonio Spurs attempt to recover from a subpar effort when they begin a home-and-home with the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. The Spurs saw a season-high five-game winning streak evaporate as they shot a woeful 36.1 percent from the field during a 96-86 loss to the host Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday... http://bit.ly/2B2B05L

Fansided: Gameday preview: OKC Thunder play home and home versus red hot Spurs
It's no secret the OKC Thunder had an easy strength of schedule through their first and their second half is projected as the hardest NBA schedule remaining. With two straight losses, the Thunder are learning how difficult their path to finish the year will be.
Several factors play into every season including luck - both good and bad. For the Thunder, the latter is precisely what they've run into in their last two games. First, they met a Wizards team who was reeling for the better part of the first half of the season. But, with John Wall out for six to eight months and the addition of Trevor Ariza suddenly the Wizards are refocused on competing.
Pounding The Rock: Game Preview: Oklahoma City Thunder at San Antonio Spurs
Separated by just a few games in the standings, the home-and-away series that the Spurs are starting tonight and concluding Saturday against the Thunder could prove to be very important in terms of seeding. With only 3 games against OKC this season, two wins in a row against their rivals in from the Northwest Division would give the Spurs the advantage in any tie-breaker situation, should seeding come down to that come playoff time. It is imperative that the Spurs take care of business tonight against an OKC team with a Russell Westbrook who has struggled with his shot all season and losers of two in a row.
