We should see some runs here today with Porcello and Eshelman on the hill, but 11.5 just feels a little high and thats due to the public not believing in Porcello and maybe even underestimating Eshelman. Either way, I think Porcello keeps the O's 28th ranked offense at Bay with an easy winner and goes under the total. Boston wins a 7-3 type of game.

    My Pick: Under 11.5 50%

Camden Chat: Friday night Orioles game thread: vs Red Sox, 7:05

    MLB

It's no secret that the Orioles pitching staff is going to have a tough time in the second half of the 2019 season. The organization is going to do its best to help the arms limp through the next few months, but the options are limited. If the team's lone all-star, John Means, could continue what he did prior to the Midsummer Classic, that would be a huge boost.

The lefty struggled his last time out, allowing six runs on eight hits, no walks and four walks across four innings against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Camden Chat: Friday Night Orioles Victory GIF Party: O's bash Red Sox, 11-2

    MLB

    It is Friday night.

The Orioles have crushed the Red Sox by an 11-2 score. All-Star John Means gave up just two runs on four hits in six innings. The O's offense exploded for 14 hits, with every batter in the starting lineup collecting a hit. Anthony Santander put the O's ahead for good with a three-run home run, and later, Richie Martin got a Little League home run of sorts when he tripled and scored on the same play thanks to an error. It was fun.

YOU KNOW WHAT MUST BE DONE.

Camden Chat: Orioles offensive outburst leads to 11-2 win over Red Sox

    MLB

Might the Orioles actually be able to play a significant spoiler role in this year's pennant race? It's a tad early to tell, but as long as they beat the Red Sox with some regularity, I think we can all be happy. They did their part on Friday with an 11-2 victory over the visiting Red Sox.

It's like the old saying goes, if you can't stand the heat then don't pitch in a Major League Baseball game. In case you haven't noticed, it's been real hot outside the last few days, and in Baltimore, heat typically comes along with insane humidity.
