----MAEDA RETURNS---- "Maeda was activated Sunday from the 10-day IL, where he landed May 17 because of a left adductor contusion.Roberts had predicted and hoped Maeda would indeed spend the minimum amount of time on the IL, and it's easy to see why. He's part of a dominating Dodgers rotation, and his most recent start is a good illustration. The injury came when Maeda fouled a ball off his leg, but even then it wasn't considered serious, and it was overshadowed by his performance. In that game, a 2-0 win over San Diego May 15, Maeda not only struck out 12 and walked none, but also drove in both runs with a bloop single. He became the first pitcher in the major leagues ever to have at least a dozen strikeouts and at least two RBIs to account for all of his team's runs -- since RBIs became an official statistic in 1920, anyway."It's hard to imagine him being any better," Roberts said.

Think Blue: Dodgers Sweep Pirates in Pittsburgh
Two days after I published a column about how the starting pitching was responsible for most of the team's recent success, the offense of the Dodgers erupted for a whopping 18 runs over the final two games of a weekend set to secure both the series and season sweep against a battered Pirates squad.
Corey Seager and Joc Pederson each hit solo home runs in the finale on Sunday while rookie utility-man Matt Beaty slugged a career-high four RBI to highlight a 11-7 Los Angles victory.
With Sunday's win, The Dodgers have now won 17 of the last 19 games against the Pirates, including the last 10 contests.
Mike Scioscia's Tragic Illness: Dodgers 11, Pirates 7: A sweep to complete a 6-2 road trip
After yesterday's rain delay, it was anticipated that there would be similar problems this afternoon. Thankfully there weren't, but the game still played as if there were, as it was a rather messy affair.
As a consolation, the Dodgers came out on top against the Pirates to complete the series sweep in a high-scoring affair of 11-7.
Corey Seager got the scoring started in the game with a big solo blast off Chris Archer to start the 2nd, his fifth of the year.
It certainly feels like he's getting comfortable again.
Fansided: Pittsburgh Pirates Fall Again To The Hard Hitting Dodgers
Throughout the 2019 season the Pittsburgh Pirates have struggled against the National League West. This continued on Saturday night as then team fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers by a score of 7-2.
With the loss, the Pittsburgh Pirates are now 8-16 against the NL West this season. This includes being 0-6 against the Dodgers. Despite the poor play against the NL West, the team remains over .500 on the season at 25-24.
Joe Musgrove started for the Pirates struggled throughout the ballgame. He surrendered 6 earned runs on 10 hits in a game that always seemed to be in the Dodgers momentum.
Mike Scioscia's Tragic Illness: Dodgers 7, Pirates 2: Bats back Hyun-Jin Ryu with 13 hits after rain delay
After cruising to a 10-2 victory over the Pirates yesterday, the Dodgers generally coasted to a series victory with a 7-2 win in the second game of the three-game set.
Just like last night, the Dodgers got off to a quick start. Joc Pederson continued to torment Joe Musgrove, leading the game off with a double. He then advanced to third on a ground out and was plated on a single by Corey Seager.
They scored again in the 3rd, this time behind a one-out double from Muncy and then a two-out single from Cody Bellinger.
